  • hahaha so worth it

  • give 4 seconds of my life back!!!!!!!!!

  • lol

  • bahahaha i love this

  • LAME

  • hahahahhhahahaha

  • HAH i untied the ratings

  • @eo722 How?

  • THEN WHO WAS DREAM?

  • @JeremyGSU

Actually, you can't see his left hand ring finger at the end scene...

    That made me very sad.

  • lmao!

  • Clearly he's missing the ring because he has given up on the idea of Mal and therefore he has accepted his reality, his dream where everything works. The children even if they have different clothes they still haven't aged and were doing the exact same thing he always sees them doing.

  • DID HE DREAM.

  • When Cobb is "Mr. Charles" he isn't wearing a ring...

so according to theory isn't a dream, but it is a dream so the theory is wrong.

  • I tied the ratings on this video

  • The ending was not a dream lol. By the top Wobbling at the end and then turning to black was just because when you have a dream and your about to end it you wake up that is why it goes black. But clearly the top was wobbling so it was not a dream.

  • needed to make the ratings for this video tied again... !

  • OH SHEESH YA'LL, TWAS A DREAM!

  • lol love it.

  • Whenever Cobb is in a dream state he wears a golden ring on the third finger from his left hand, meaning that in his subconscious he's still married to Mal, which is alive of course. In the real world he doesn't have that golden ring on his finger, so it is in the end, when he wakes up on the plane. :D

  • pure shit

  • WTF this isn't tupac dumbass it's biggie

  • Thanks 2pac.

  • funniest thing ive ever seen

  • good shit

  • The big boom sounds you hear throughout the movie signifies a dream. It is that song being played in very slow motion, the farther down in levels you go, the slower the music plays.

  • @TheMagicBolt it doesn't play trough all the levels at once it goes to the next level and then they give the kick

  • LMFAO

  • @JeremyGSU

"Michael Caine also stated this in a recent interview verfying that Leo was in the real world."

    Uh-huh.

Angelina Jolie also stated in a recent interview that she was leaving Brad Pitt for me.

    See what I did thurr??

  • @Romansteel13 I see what you did there...Michael cain said the end is real cuz he doesnt show up in the dreams

  • @JeremyGSU when hes wife dies at the end when the girl shoot her they are in dreaM but he dont wear the ring

  • HAHAHAHAHHA LOOL THIS MADE ME LOL

  • so much for an in-deph analysis.

  • This review should have been 2 seconds shorter.

  • The porpuse of the final is to us question... what is real.. what is dream...and see this point... he knows exacly how he goes to America... He got the plane...so we have sure that he departed on real life.. and arrived on real life.... like he said to her ... "you dont know what is the beginning of the dream..so how we ended up here?"

  • cough cough he took the totem from mul, aka its hers not his

  • lolz good analysis

  • @JeremyGSU your wrong....

  • Biggie you said it man. :P

  • @Sergeantspoon biggie forshadowed inception

  • There is different actors billed for the kids in the beginning compared to the kids at the end.

  • someone should email christopher nolan and ask for an explanation to end this shit.

  • @mingeisanut lololol

  • cool.

  • well said BIGGIE. well said.

  • SHEESH Y'ALL, TWAS A DREAM!

  • You'd think the children would be older now that he has had the time to become a master extractor. Obviously a dream. It was all a dream!

  • i used to read word up magazine

  • Infact, half the movie is a dream. When he takes the sedative, it sends him into limbo, and he never wakes up. Think about it, when he went to use his totem after we 'see' him 'wakeup' from the chair, we do not see it stop spinning, because he hits it.

  • haha nice

  • @JeremyGSU i agree he only has a wedding ring on when hes in the dream plus u can see the top about to fall over while in the dream it would stand perfectly straight and not wobble thus IT IS REAL!!!!!!

  • @BigNickDigger88 Well the director made it stop when it wobbles so it kind of ended at a climax and we would decide. Also you do have some good points. What if he was dreaming the whole time and his wife was actually alive and not dead and he drempt she killed herself? Also near the end when his wife was talking to him and she stabbed him in the chest. Could his wife have been trying to wake him up?

  • @TheCrazeGamer yes agree

  • lol

  • @JeremyGSU Holy crap, you payed so much attention to the movie you noticed him wearing a ring in dreams? That's amazing right thar.

  • looooooooooooooooooooool genius

  • so it was the opoiste ending of vinella sky? if you dont know what that movie is DONT WATCH IT EVER. WORST PISSING COW SHIT THAT A HORSE HAS EVER SAT ON....i just saying

  • Wow, that was so deep it changed my life.

  • it wasn't a dream because he remembered how he got to the plane, and, after that, to his home! And he couldn't dream anymore, without the help of the machine!

  • Leonardo was probably still dreamin being stuck in the LIMBo which he first warned everybody from....his exit from the airport and constant rotation top proves it as a dream....he just got off the track and livin in virtuality.

  • ahaha best analysis!!! LOL so funny

  • @JeremyGSU

    alright but wers the salami?

  • Salt n pepper n heavy D up in this limouzine!

  • I used to read word up magazine!

  • It was all a dream

  • I believe that they cut off the last shot to perform Inception on the audience into making us think it was all a dream.

  • i rate this(y)

  • jackass

  • fuck you

  • I used to read Word Up magazine Salt'n'Pepa and Heavy D up in the limousine Hangin' pictures on my wall Every Saturday Rap Attack, Mr. Magic, Marley Marl I let my tape rock 'til my tape popped Smokin' weed and bamboo, sippin' on private stock Way back, when I had the red and black lumberjack With the hat to match Remember Rappin' Duke, duh-ha, duh-ha You never thought that hip hop would take it this far Now I'm in the limelight 'cause I rhyme tight Time to get paid, like the World Trade B.I.G
  • omg thatmade me laugh oo hard

  • Seriously made me laugh.

  • @JeremyGSU at the end the spinning top starts to topple, trust me

  • My Theory:

    It was real life.

  • 1) pay attention to when Cobb has a wedding ring on

    2) notice how many sets of children are in the credits, and their shoes in scenes.

    3) Miles/Mal are never in the same "worlds" one represent reality, the other the dreams/memory

    4) Ariadne is also the name of a greek chick that helped Theseus out of the Minotaurs labyrinth.

    5) "This is not real" is exactly what Mal was convinced of with such a small thing (totem spinning) & now the inception is in you, convinced it is a dream :)

    fun ending.

  • @jerkazoid so are you saying the ending is reality or dream

  • Lulzzz

  • for people saying the top came from the dreams...

the whole point of totems is that they start in reality, as something that is identifiable and un-spoofable to anyone but the owner... like the weighted dice and the chess piece that tips a certain way. when they enter a dream, they bring the totem in with them as part of themselves. the wife's totem was a spinning top, but after her death, the husband took it and used it as his own from then on

  • LOL

  • what's the very first thing you see in movie?

    The spinning top.

what's the last thing you see in the movie?

    The spinning top.

    There's a reason why:

    Where did he get it?

    In a dream.

So...... If he found it in a dream. And he has it... He must be dreaming!

    Simple.

  • @thebeach2008 your an idiot and need to watch that movie again......

  • @thebeach2008 the spinning top is real because his wife made it to know when she was dreaming. it never wobbled when they were dreaming but wabbled in the end there for making the viewer think it would still carry on spinning but it just didnt show us it for long enough for us to see it fall

  • @thebeach2008

    No... Just no.

Did you even see the movie?

  • it was a dream: here's why: 1. When he is supposed to be awake. They are always wearing the same clothes. 2. Where did he get the totem "spinning top" from? While he was dreaming with his wife, so how did he bring that back to reality? 3. Fischer does not reconize him 4. His wife is alive and SHE is the one trying to do the inception on him. She is the only person whose clothes change. Why is she trying to kill him? Shooting him? Getting off the chair so he falls, The train out of nowhere?

  • it was all a dream because the movie industry is going to make a sequel based on that premise because they want to turn this movie into a trilogy to milk it for more money. which is sad.

  • @FTWINZOR except the only sequel nolan ever made is for Batman, so you're probably wrong.

  • @FTWINZOR

That is the most sane thing i have scene in the comments.

  • hahahahahahhahahahahaha

  • It wasn't all a dream because the spin top fell like twice

  • lmao

  • LOL xD

  • die

  • lol... thats funny. I interpreted it as him still dreaming only cuz the kids clothes was the same and if Leo was stuck in limbo w/ his wife at some point in the film, then the children would've aged... but yeah who knows, maybe the entire film was one huge dream!

  • @Luvya24037 You mean they wouldn't have aged if they were in limbo. 5 minutes of real life is years in limbo.

  • @Luvya24037 it couldnt of all been a dream because at some points the spinner stops

  • @alstar999 The ending was constructed by Nolan in a way that it could be concieved as being a dream or not.

  • @Testifyexe yeah and if the top did fall down then people wouldn't be thinking about it and trying to explain it.

  • @Testifyexe yessss

  • @Testifyexe Untrue. He has said that Dom wakes up but the cut off is to get the audience to come back to reality and realize that things are not always as they seem. Dom wakes up and the top falls.

  • @Testifyexe

Thank God, finally someone intelligent has something to say about the ending.

  • @Luvya24037 not really, he spun the spinner at the after the beginning and it fell somewhere along the middle and the end it was a dream

  • @Luvya24037 I believe that he was stuck in his own subconscious because when he walked through the airport everyone was looking at him in a happy peaceful way, though, and also that when he was at home and the spinner began to stagger, it shows that it would fall because in his mind he thought he was in reality and so it was going to work. Or, I also think that it was real and that he was home. That is the best ending ever, though. Nolan is a genius.
