This Rube Goldberg / 4th of July doodle horribly slows down my beige G3 Mac running Mac OSX 10.3.9 Panther. In Firefox 2.0.0.20, there is a 3 to 5 second delay after every letter I type into search bar. In Camino 1.6.11, the Google start page freezes the apps and I have to force-quit Camino. Bad bit of JavaScript doodling for Mac users with older hardware and software. BTW, the animation works fine on my 7GB iPod Touch when viewing Google in Classic mode. How about that!
