  • 500 hp for light loads? Sounds like a lot of over kill!

  • Nice truck, but if I had to hear old man one more time, He would have to get the smack in mouth and why isn't he at work, but still Volvo is the truck to drive.

  • cascadia's suck they are a piece of shit i work for a company that runs about 350 trucks almost all of them are junk ass cascadia's we pretty much keep the local freightliner dealer in business

  • Hey does your truck have a hubodometer? Thanx

  • hello goindeff, how are you? here, from oporto portugal (europe) charles is very, very happy watch this video. i am a american trucks fan, and speciality, all this NEW . it´s not possible compaire yours amazing trucks with ours So thanks and good luck....

  • id rather have that valvo all day!!

  • it looks ugly without a double axle

  • iTS TO THINGS WRONG WITH THESE TRUCKS HERE,,#1 SINGLE AXLE# 2 AUTOMATIC

  • great vid, love the truck, the black back in the sleeper is king. hey, get a new hat, ir give your address i send you one. lol

  • dat a coool dam truck

  • where do you come to in canada with them doubles???

  • naw if i have a choice i would have pick the international prostar

  • 500 HP for a single axle...hee haw!!!

  • wish I drove one of those.

  • Well...thats the kinda truck I drive, but I got double drive axles, wish I had the autoshift though. There nice trucks, This is my 1st freightliner, and its not that bad.

  • NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO ITS AN AUTOMATIC!!!!! WHERES ALL THE MANUALS THESE DAYS

  • Nice looking Cascadia. Never saw one in a single axle.

Its strange, they spec the truck with a single axle to pull light loads and they stick in a 500hp engine. Wouldn't a 435hp be enough.

  • Thats a nice truck.

  • nice rig....

all those batteries will make for good use on one big bad ass cb amp lol...

  • aww single axle :(

  • Cascadia? Man, I've been out of the game for too long. Last I knew, the latest Freightshaker was the Coronado...

I haven't gone anywhere near a truck since I totaled mine, and myself incidentally, back in '04. Right after Christmas.

That looks a lot like the old Ford LT9500 that Freightliner used to manufacture under the Sterling name. Guess they did away with Sterling now eh?

  • Dude to be honest.....I HAVE NO IDEA haha thats all my uncles thing. Hes got over 40K on it now....I think

  • @Czar169 last freightliner ive been in was a freightliner century class... last truck was a international 9400i eagle

  • @Czar169 Sorry to hear about the wreck! I got hit in 98' and broke my back in a couple of places. I was able to keep working but it eventually caught up to me. Like you everybody talked about how new and cool these things were but I was like, I thought they quit making Sterlings. They changed the hood and sleeper window, slightly, and they are like, "BAM" new truck to change the industy. They came out in 09, if I remember correctly.

  • personally if i had a choice id pick the volvo vnl780

  • So would Jim. Thanks for the sub

  • man the old guy is cool but the young kid is gay

  • Great video,thank's.Got a 2010 Cascadia today

  • ah sure, thanks!!

  • beautiful, but single axle why?

  • lighter load hauls, cheaper tolls.

  • @Goindeff

    Is that a 60 inch sleeper ?

  • Duuude! Beautiful rig, Jim must be a top-notch driver. (I've driven ALOT worse! hahahaha). Expedited freight is def. where the money's at. (He'll love that paperwork @ the Canadian border, too!)

Good luck, Jim, keep em' on the road...

  • You said SPIFFY!lol Thats a huge Bitch! Holly shit they have a lot of new Rigs or is that at the dealer! Nice Vid.

  • Haha I never know what im going to say. Yeah and thats a small truck. No thats the truck yard. The company keeps nothing but new trucks

  • I knew it was detroit once I heard it start. They have a higher pitch diesel knock then most other engines. Nice Truck. I see he registered in in Okla, which is the cheapest state to do so. Most trailers you see on the road will be reg in OK. BTW I'm a OTR Truck Mechanic. Our freightliners are good for about 5 to 6 years, then all those bells and whistles start falling apart. That is a big outfit. I love that color. Does he haul doubles?

  • He just went back over the road. He just excited to be the first one in the truck. And doubles? As in a "wiggle wagger" or whatever or two drivers?

  • Doubles are 2 small trailers with a convertor dolly between them. I asked cause the truck is a single axle OTR truck, not a smalller road truck or city delivery truck. Or a large singles are used for car haulers. Hope that made since.

  • Yeah I get what your saying. No he just does light loads. Hes just an exsperenced driver that can do time critical loads

  • totally agree freighshakers are good trucks i have driven many of them and my truck is 4 years old so i would take the keys to a new freightliner too..........

  • The company he drives for sure has a lot of new rigs.

  • Oh yeah they get new trucks all the time haha

  • still like my kenworth.....

  • They make a good truck. But like Jim said. When they throw you the keys to a BRAND new truck haha you say nothing

  • Thats a really nice truck. I didn't see the Miller Lite fridge?

  • Haha thanks stubby. He forgot to show the fridge its under the bed and no I think he keeps his militec in there....

  • Great vid Matt. I've driven those trucks in the parking lot. That one is really nice.Truck drivers earn every dime they make that's for sure.Ted probably never seen one as their bigger than his country.LOL!

  • Thanks Bill. Its a really cool truck. He left this morning. And your right Ted would be running for his tommy guns if he saw this coming down the street haha

  • awsome interior

  • love the vid man 5/5

  • i would love to have a big truck like that so i could just travel around the country i want to be a truck driver now do u have to buy ur own truck?

  • Well you can buy your own truck, Then you would be what they call an "owner/operator" But hes just a driver thats a company truck

  • Do alot of research and talk to other drivers. You will see alot of the country but from the interstates. I would not buy my truck. Let the company that hires you have all the headaches. The trucker lifestyle is not for everyone. I've seen alot of drivers go through the training process just to find that they could not handle living on the road.

  • Five Stars!!

  • I'm in the wrong business! That's a damn nice truck. Great vid man!

  • Hey thanks yeah hes real proud of it

  • Nice looking Truck, wonder how long it's going to take to get all filty from the long road trips? Great video! I beat your friend, Jim is Stooked!

  • great video...really enjoyed this one...got a good look inside...btw i was big into CB and ham back in the day.

  • Thanks Mike, and I knew you were a nerd deep down

  • You're still a HAM!

  • This is lost on me Bro........I know nutn about trucks like this! Bed looks cozy though. lol

    Nice video, man!

  • Hey thanks, thats why I did it. Ive been around them my whole life. My dad used to drive and Jim has his whole life. Just a lil peek into truck driver life. Im giving him a cam to take with him

  • Right on, Brother.....should be interesting.

  • I bet Jim is as happy as a kid locked in a candy store! lol

  • He said only if your riding with him

  • Tell Jim I want a ride in it! Haven't been in one of those trucks in years! LOL

  • that was cool

i never saw a truck upclose like that

    thanks

  • Yeah thats why I went ahead and did this vid. There really cool machines man

  • nice truck but i am a mack guy

  • Yeah well this is one sweet riding truck.

  • 4:42 Mike and Nutin think you are too!!!!

    he's got a lonnngggggg drive....

  • Haha well his first stop is in your neck of the woods
