  • Warms the car quicker when the RPM is higher

  • my 07 altima dose the same, starts at 2,000 rpm and sits there untill warmed up alil its a v6 so its just a thing i guess cars do now.

  • I think your mustang got a little pissed at you that morning. ;)

  • damn that was a high rpm. that sound just makes me want an 07' stang now

  • he could have had his foot on the gas, easly on it. people do that to cars..Fuel Injected.

some times it's needed, sometimes it's not.

  • My foot wasn't on the throttle.

  • oh. really?

well, now i think of it.

V8s in the cold do start up at a higher Rpm,

    then V6. or V8 in 60^d.

  • @fusionvic I have a similar problem but backwards , MY 2010 Mustang GT starts up on 500 rpm on a cold start. it sounds like it struggles to get to a higher RPM i have clean the MAF and throttle body, Even Sea Foamed My car and nothing. Took my car to too different Ford Dealerships and cant find anything wrong with it, no codes, or Check Engine lights.
