The humanesque units in this video are Space Marines, bio-engineered soldiers in powered armor who are organized into semi-autonomous organizations with the Imperium of Man, the massive theocratic dictatorship that makes up all of humanity in the galaxy.

The green guys are called Orks. Spelled with a "k". They are both th biggest threat and the comedic relief of 40k. Their strategy is called "moar dakka" which is compensating for their inaccuracy with more guns. It works for them.

Their race used to in control and then they realized this, decided to indulge in it, and messed up so much that they caused a dark god to be born, and since then haven't been in control.

They're pretty much Space Elves. But not quite.
