This is one of the funniest videoes I have ever seen, I really appreciate the effort made in the production values of the video, but the actual content is full of laughable un-argued jumps and unexplained statements which devalue your argument. You make huge . Do you understand what the word "explained" means, did you mean exposed? What you have here is a pitiful unexplained tirade. Must try harder 2/10
Critical Theory has done more for the critique of Marx than many other schools. By the time we reach Habermas, Marxism has been almost entirely abandoned with the exception of the commodification thesis--which retains a degree of viability despite deep flaws in Marx's overall architecture, especially the flawed labor theory of value.
Nevertheless, communism and fascism were *perversions* of family structure--the *household* writ large. Society was conceived as a single household rather than an elaborate network of several households and firms. Hence we had the Communist Mother of Soviet Russia alongside the Fascist Father of Nazi Germany and the perpetual children-citizens who neurotically supported these regimes through a sort of sickly symbiosis. If the Critical Theorists said this, then they were right.
If the Critical Theorists did attack the traditional family in its everyday form; they were greatly mistaken. The family is one of the greatest bulwarks against totalitarianism that there is.
Spot on. Excellent counter propaganda to the never evending lefty crap. We need to be teaching this in schools if for no other reason that to give an alternative point of view and make our kids think. Our society has become full of what Marxists call, "useful idiots."
