This was originally seen on "ROCKY AND HIS FRIENDS" in the fall of 1960, and one of the few in the series to be animated by Jay Ward's staff in Hollywood (most of the "Tales" were produced by Gamma Productions in Mexico, and several during the first two seasons "outsourced" to TV Spots [Creston Studios] in Hollywood). Paul Frees also makes a rare vocal appearance in this episode, as the voice talent in these stories usually consisted of Bill Scott, Daws Butler, and June Foray.

Why is half the screen black? When the Prince walks through the cement you can't see what he's actually doing. A bit poor really.
