You can't perform, a demonstration, with the same intensity or intent, as if it were an actual situation. You have to visit the school, and go through the training, as apposed to making negative comments, based on observation. When various techniques are shown, it is not what they would actually do, but, the possibilities, based on the others actions. Even effective arts, may look fake, when being demonstrated.

for all you guys who think a grappler could take these guys i think what you are missing is that this is a demo video ment to entertain and promote the art where Alex Tao the man who invented it is a master of martial arts and uses this style on the streets of hong kong often in short he would rip through the gracies anyday if the week

the problem with this style is it looks TOO good. the fighting looks like a kung fu movie. i think anyone whose ever been in a real fight can appreciate the real fight will never go to plan as they assume in this video. the real fight will be close quaters and rely alot on grappling ability which this style seems to be lacking. i think sanshou is a much better style for real combat than this.

yeah, but that doesn't mean its a good style. it looks awesome with all thes kicks and board breaking but these guys would lose to a grappler anyday.

@xingyimaster1987 Not necessarily and ufc is not real fighting. neither is a lot of the grappling you see out there. These demos are just an example of what could happen in a real fight you have no way of knowing. And remember there is always someone trained better than you. First destroy the mirror image of yourself then constantly create a new one there a loop hole around everything a way in and out. I like bruce lees philosophy no way as way no limitation as your limitation.

true it looks too good in demonstrations, but that's a demonstration. watch art of war fc, they have some jing quan dao fighters, san shou, and shuai jiao fighters and that's most probably what it'd look like in actual combat. even so, art of war fc has some pretty impressive striking.

The grappling moves look terrible but besides that this basically looks like a tighter simplified version of sanshou with some higher tkd style kicks added

this is the problem with Chinese Martial Arts today... to many people with political tendancies, relationships, and standing promoting their own "style" to make money. And not enough of them are willing to back their style up by using it to compete in fair competition. I pray that MMA can save the Chinese martial arts from idiots like this guy!
