Nice vid!! My F2L going slow or fast still has pauses. Its frustrating so im working on getting all PLLs under 2 seconds. You have awesome G perms, would you mind making a finger trick tutorial on your PLLs?? :) Im sure im not the only one who would greatly appreciate it
@Speedcuber4Life I have awesome G perms??? lol no. I did learn some new fingertricks though (from Breandan Vallance's video, he can do every alg sub 1). I may make a video demonstrating my fingertricks - thanks for the suggestion.
@pcwizcube Well from your view you may not think so but from anyone else watching who is slower they are so smooth and dont seem slow at all. The G perms. F, and V are my slowest PLLs I think. But It would be a great idea to make a tutorial! But in the mean time, what do I search on youtube to get his finger tricks?
@Speedcuber4Life oh okay, sorry I didn't realize that. And the video of his finger tricks are on my favorites. "Updated PLL video" Even there it's still hard to figure out what he's doing - I had to download the video and slow it down a bit, but it was worth it.
@DuhEnlightenedOne Well, the cube I'm using is a different brand. Rubik's brand cubes in general (even now) are pretty awful at turning. Other companies sell cubes that are designed for "speedcubing" and they turn a lot better (and are cheaper too :D)
@Djsora555 I used to use a metronome when my F2L (cross + F2L) was about 15 seconds or higher. Once you get faster than that, the fast beating starts to get annoying and you can't concentrate as much; concentrating to look ahead is kind of the whole point. I think using the metronome is better for people who are novice at Fridrich F2L. Once you get faster you know what to do and you are able to keep a steady turning pace without the metronome.
hey dude everytime i move the cube fast i always tend to get it stuck like after a U2 and i do an R if the U2 isnt perfectly done then i cant move the R
@iceymanjack uh, there's not much you can do, except turn more carefully. Also when I tried to reply to this comment, I might have accidentally blocked you... not sure... so if I did sorry :D
Very helpful. Thanks.

@anchor32 I'm glad this video helped you! And no, I don't live by a beach. I was filming in my room so it's possible that my window was open.

To be sub 20 is full oll and pll necessary?
gitrmstr 3 months ago
@gitrmstr No, it's not necessary. You can even be sub 20 layer by layer method and 4 look last layer. Here's a video: watch?v=qLki-254ZKA

Is that cube made the same way as the ones from the 80s? Seems to rotate a lot more smoothly.
