Oops, I just now discovered the lyrics in full. I had already noticed that the lyrics on the video aren't synchronized with the music. I already knew the songs (not QUITE as familiar with "Lover's Concerto" lyrics), and even have an instrumental arrangement of Grandfather's Clock on "Carl Moore's Music Pages" site, based on the version in 1950s on Peter Pan label.
Hi! I did not tell you about this duo. My daughter's piano teacher suggested us to play duo in their piano recital. This is the tape at that time. I also played lover's concerto and moonlight with my Chinese American friend in a Christmas concert at college in USA. That's one of the reasons why I like these duo.
Thank you. These pieces were the only duo with my daughter during her piano solo recital. After this I quit playing the guitar, so that no other duo recording exists. It's a shame. Since she keeps playing the piano, we may have another chance.
lovely music

Grandfather's Clock is one of five songs that can make me cry. Lovers Concerto right after gets me pumped, though!

I know both songs very well indeed!!
Great memories of childhood with Grandfather's Clock.
The Sarah Vaughan (Bach) piece was quite a hit here in the UK too!!
Best Regards

I appreciate your warm comment. Grandfarther's clock revived in Japan a few year's ago, and it became a great hit.
