  • Kato would pwn Batman......just sayin

  • I've heard about fury of the dragon but I can't find it any were

  • That 1 dislike, yeah thats a racist

  • it's a shame that holleywood never gave Bruce a chance....

the greatest ever martial artist ever lived.

  • @PokerbmwCom They did give him a chance and offered him double what he asked for....... Only after he made it big and he told them he makes that now with just 2 movies. lol It was Warner Bros. Loss big time.

especially when they screwed him on the "Kung Fu" Series...... by the way, David Karadine didn't hang himself, bruce lee's ghost just got revenge. lol

  • @VashWolfwood1 Good one, but David Caradine always felt bad about that He felt bruce had the skills.

  • 1:30 OMG

  • The Kato show starring Bruce Lee and some White guy

  • Bruce Lee loves doing that jumping axe chop...I wonder if they put that in the movie. LOL!!!

  • @PublicICON

I don't remember but they DID put in Bruce's one-inch punch, a drawing of Bruce, and Kato used darts (well...I know that was a Green Hornet thing first but I always remember Bruce's dart usage from Way of the Dragon.)

  • very outstanding video

  • allright. that the way it was many year ago.that how i recall the

    green hornet.

  • @alloredarc

"the scriptwriter wanted to elaborate on Kato's character but was denied" ... The scriptwriter?? Which one? There were several. And Van Williams was also pushing to give Kato more screentime (or more dialogue, anyway).

  • The creator of Jeet Kune Do man, no Kato will ever be near as good...!!!

  • @AmericanPowerBase

Actually, I think we just need good quality copies of the show. I've seen many copies of G reen Hornet tapes that looked good, others horrendous. It depends on which "generation" ... if the tape or dvd you get is a copy of a copy of a copy of a copy, you lose the picture (and sound) quality ...

  • Robin from batman would have kicked Kato's ass

  • @MatrixFactoryGuy Of course he would... you are right. Now ring the nurse and have her bring you your meds, you're delirious.

  • Comment removed

  • @MatrixFactoryGuy Yeah, that's why Robin didn't show his bi\itchy self up when Bruce joked about beating Robin up on the batman green hornet special set. tch.

  • Ofcourse this was the Kato show, I'm pretty sure it wouldn't even have been known if Bruce Lee wasn't in it.

  • @xxGing

It was known ... The Green Hornet had been a popular series years before ... besides, if Bruce Lee was so popular, why didn't the show last longer?

  • the reason why Bruce Lee is the best, Well theres a story. when he went to school he would bo 15 minutes early. that way he woul have enough time so that when the other students came he would say sifu is sick. This led him to private training from the god father Ip Man Bruce lee's Sifu. my uncle told me this story. he was a dicple of Ip Man. and so on. but R.I.P Ip Man & Bruce Lee *bows*

  • Best kick to the face ever @ -07 mark. When I was 10 yrs old some big kid at the school started with me. I wasn't scared as I was going to fight him Kato style. After the fight as I layed there. I couldn't figure what the hell went wrong?

  • @freddyflakes

Open the arm for kicking is hard to defend yourself. You should go to Hong Kong to receive Wong Shun Leung's training, then, you can kick and punch like Kato - almost no preparation, shortest distance, etc.

So, don't forget to find Sifu Wong Shun leung. If you can't find him, you may go to Wong's student Gary Lam.

    Good Luck.

  • When comparing to good modern choreography, this looks very subpar. However, it still also looks pretty epic and awesome in its own time frame. Can we really compare Bruce Lee's choreography to modern day choreography. I think we have come a very long way in terms of martial arts, but we also have to take into consideration that Bruce Lee didn't have much to work with; not many experienced stunt men back in the days to work with...

  • It's also too bad Bruce was asked to slow down his action for the cameras otherwise his "fighting" would have been a blur on screen.

  • @eijiyuki It may be a bit slower but definitely still better choreography then most movies of today. I'd say all of Bruce lee's actual movies had the best fighting choreography compared to today.

  • way dont make wing chun in your movies?

  • Bruce Lee has the charm theat no one can compare. He is the legend.

  • Dude that'd be awsome if they used this theme song for the new movie.

  • @ 1:00 a basic 3 hit combo!!! Took his ass right out..lol

  • As a kid, I wanted to look like Van Williams, but fight like Bruce Lee...lol!

  • Bruce is my hero. R.I.P.

  • whenever the bad guy is tough the Green Hornet always will say go get him Kato lol

  • The Green Hornet himself didn't need to fight lol? Let the great Bruce do the fighting :). Thanks for sharing!!

  • @ale03000

The Green Hornet did plenty of fighting. You need to see a whole episode instead of just select clips.

  • @spider9137 I know right??? I have the complete episodes and they did their share of butt kicking onscreen.. This was a really good detective noir superhero type show.... The relationship Britt had with his secretary and Mike were really interesting...

  • This is his first tv thing he ever did.

  • no, he did some acting as a child i think it was 20 sumthing films he did when he was a kid

  • he meant american television.
