  • Why is it so important for us, as the public slash fans, or entities such as ESPN, to know how much the fighters make or how much the UFC is worth? It's not going to make me lose sleep if I know or don't know. That's their business. As long as it's not illegal or hurting innocent people like some Ponzi scheme, fuck it, who cares... Sit back and watch the fight.

  • They show boxing why not ufc shit man

  • I don't see what's the problem here. UFC is a business and every business strives to be at the top of their industry. Paying for perfomance, especially in this sport, is a damn good method. You want fighters that will work hard to be at the top because at the end of the day, as a company, you want to make money putting on a good show. As a fighter, you want to make money performing at your best. And as s a viewer, you're willing to spend money watching exciting fights. Period.

  • Fighters want to be in the UFC for a reason. If u are successful in the UFC then u can make very good money. If u are not a top fighter then u can still make a decent living doing something u love to do. Owners of any company always get the big piece of the pie and the UFC is no different. I think fans need to stop pretending to be financial geniuses and just enjoy the sport.

  • David Haye at 4.39, i thought Dana had no idea who David Haye was?...I guess he must have said that before he was sat next to him at ringside.

  • they stoped showing highlights on sportscenter :(

  • Is it me or does the video seem really chopped up and edited? It just seems likes it jumps around a lot, and obviously the entire interviews are not being played in its complete form. Just my opinion.

  • Wait,im not really getting the point of the video. Can some one explain it? lol

  • they get contract money, bonus money if they do good, bonus money if a lot of people tune in and show up, sponsors......helloooooo just because theres people who make 4 million to hit a baseball a couple times doesnt mean these guys are being underpaid.

  • @paydn202 plus i doubt they care about the money, they fight because they love to fight. what other reasons would you need to fight? other than because you love it?

  • @paydn202 the MLB doesnt pay the players... the OWNER of the club does... in the UFC the (...) UFC pays the fighters, and its MUCH newer than ANY other sport out there and its growing, lorenzo said "fighter pay increases every year"... id play any pro sport for 30-50k a year... you play a fucking sport for a living... if anything MLB NHL NFL and NBA players are WAY over paid... compaired to a combat sport like MMA... ramblin, sorry im done...

  • @A10pilot617 I know they have owners for every team I didnt know how the payment worked though. I'm on your side idk if what I said came off wrong or not. but yeah I completely agree with you 100%

  • i love the fact when Lorenzo told the reporter what ESPN was paying some of their fighters...moron had no answer for it. Had no sense of class, respect, or knowledge of anything. ESPN=low class blue ballers.

  • if ufc was paying there young fighters like the nba and nfl, they would be going throuh lockout negotiations just like nba . I think what their doing is smart, fighters should earn for what type of money thery want

  • Brilliant response by the UFC.. You can see that the Vet's are more than happy with the money they have made, who cares what their slice of the pie is? The UFC has done and continues to do so much for the sport, to expect even more and more money would be greedy. You can see the enthusiasm the guys have for the sport, they talk straight, Fertitta came across extremely well in their response "version of the interview" - At the end of the day, the money is a by-product of hard work and success!

  • Of course Dana would make it out like a witch hunt on ESPN. As far as i'm concerned, he'd do anything to throw ESPN under a bus. I think its funny how he's going out of this way to call this a "piece of trash". Where was that argument when E:60 did their piece on him?

  • 9:00 ESPN get owned, caught cold

  • @PaperGrape yeah

  • Yeah I got it. Now what time is the 144 previews I got all these heavy weight questions, my hairs fallin' out! My dog left me!! It just keeps getting more confusing?

  • Where is the rest of it? The other 28 mins?

  • Lol ufc is a young upcoming sport franchise, just like 30 years ago, do you think baseball/basketball/football players were making as much as players these days? Fuck no!

  • @BobbyBigallo

30 years ago those sports didnt have billion dollar revenues. Dont assume stuff, people usually have reason for trying to shine a light , theres no smoke without fire. Alot of money is just going to the owners pocket.

  • ESPN can suck it

  • UFC fighters have a chance to earn a 65K BONUS!!! $65,000 fucking dollars.. most ppl dont even make that in a year.. there fighters are paid WELL.. gsp said he made around 4 mil in his last fight.. they big name fighters get ppv cuts as well as a percentage of ticket sales.. if you are a shitty fighter then u shouldnt get paid the big bucks

  • @mangoKush12 well said

  • they paid out since 2005 to their fighters, 250 million dollars... and made 25 billion , wow... and they are bitching about someone hacking UFC for Dana White Whining about anyone watching videos pirated or hackers... lol go fk urselves UFC

  • @hvacrdude1 How much of that profit have they invested in the sport?

  • People whoever wherever dont complain for no reason.... lets see some percentage disclosures we dont need to see an exact amount... lets be reasonable.

  • Dana White has padded fights and made his pets well known, its no secret... im sure kissing butt was not a secret with him.

  • Dana White is an anal mofo... everything is everyone else fault, hes like this hateful person, mr fkg attitude kiss my ass type guy... i would tell him to go fk himself. he tried that mma shit with me, i would tap his ass out with a tire iron over his dome. or knee cap and smash his face in. oh blooby.. blooby, we didnt get to make enough money because we want it all , its either my way or no way at all... hes hurting himself. there needs to be another association of MMA in the USA not UFC

  • @ericssson that was just uncalled for man

  • espn is shit

  • FUCK ESPN !!!!!

  • of course they are dirty they are run by jews man !

  • Also Lorenzo put that guy on the spot with the ESPN's fighter pay, 200 bucks for a four round fight ? That's terrifying

  • @thisiskris017 lol right

  • Clip of Robert Downey Jr. freaking out, FTW

  • Espn and tmz have something in common both are self-seeking attention, greddy, lying, assholes.

  • I have not watched espn in about 10 years. Nothing to do with UFC. Espn is just garbage.

  • @SmokedMeatsMan To each his own man, to each his own.

  • 150 People work for ESPN

  • @breewayne HAHA! So True?

  • fight three times a year and you win each fight at six and six. 32k a year without bonuses.. you get sponsors throwing in another what, 5k? 37k a year isn't a great but lets not pretend like you're broke if you bring home almost 40k a year.

  • ufc fighters get underpaid i mean some solid figthers get paid under 100k per fights and most ufc fighters only fight between 2 -3 times a year and thats not enough considering the fact that they are professionals. if im not mistakened boxers make up to millions per fight and even the top elite ufc fighters only get paid from 400k to 800k some actually hit a million but barely a million these guys are putting there life on line. UFC is more brutal than just boxing

  • @24FLYstar please tel me you are joking.. The boxers who make millions like pacquaio and maywether are a dime a dozen. The rest make squat.

  • You fans bitch and whine for what? The fighters read and sign the contracts. You are not there and you don't know what's going on behind the scenes. The released amounts paid to the fighters are not bad, you guys are just expected massive amounts of money for no-name fighters. I start out in the UFC and fight for 15 mins. This is my very first fight and I make $8,000 that easily and I may even get a bonus. That's a good check for a beginner. Stop being greedy.

  • the UFC is still missing the point. Fighters ARE UNDERPAID. why doesnt UFC release the total revenue they made? Then compare that to the amount fighters are getting paid. guess what, they pay their fighters peanuts in comparisson. theres some fighters on a UFC card that make less than 5 grand for a fight. this means they cant even survive on a fighters salary alone and are below poverty line.

  • @dafuksup but if they perform and do well they get more money...so they have to show that they deserve to be in the UFC. You also ignored the fact that ESPN was underpaying their fighters.

  • ESPN fails to realize that without the UFC there isn't an MMA venue for all the other organizations that have come and gone. Why don't they interview other organizations, like Afflication and Donald Trump about them failing. It is a Business! If fighters don't like the UFC there are plenty of other organizations that they can fight in. Fedor has spent his whole career outside the UFC.

  • @sabastinty

That was was then Pride and dream is no more, and strikeforce is owned by UFC, so in fact even Fedor has no choice but to work for UFC, you have no concpet of what is going on right now. They not tlaking about years ago, when there was loads of mma shows and figheters pay was crap anyway cause hardly anyone watched it. They talking about NOW!! so stay in scope if you gonna post.

  • @sabastinty

affliction failed cause they gave their high end fighters too much compared to their reveneue, especially their top dogs, they had no choice but to do that, they assumed they would grow, but they couldnt cause of UFC doing cuthrouat busines , you really have no clue what you talking about.

  • @TonyMon16 There are plenty of other places to fight. Bellator is just one that I know of, but there are other smaller groups out there. WWE is in the same position that UFC is in. They are the main show for wrestling. WCW was paying the wrestler a ton of money, but in the end it wasn't a good business plan, and WWE bought them. Is Vince McMahon or Dana White wrong for having a smart business plan? And did the failed organizations pay their fighters that much better?

  • @sabastinty

Isnt bellator really small? think they mean comparable in size to UFC, like strikeforce or pride, (prdei dead SF is now ufc sort of). I said in my earlier pos the only way what UFC is doing is fair is if they were the ones invented MMA.Every other business has plans in place to stop monoplies. They already dealth with wwe, they tried making monoply a while back and now laws are in place that they cant (TNA). Maybe something like this needs to happen in mma for fairness.

  • ESPN's a whore

  • FUCK ESPN

  • lol chuck liddell XD

  • whats he so annoyed about I didnt think that piece by espn was very biased or bad, it look more like a flashlight shining on the mystery of UFC payroll, which you guys keep hidden. Besides ESPN is the only way UFC is even avalable in the UK, so i wouldnt be to bad to them if i were you ufc :P No ones saying you are a dirty compnay or even that you cheat people, but its clear you guys could do more for fighters eventually, your fighters look tired sometimes and extremeley pressured sometimes.

  • NFL players are targets for crime because people think they know what they get paid. So, I don't think we really need to know the actual pay. I don't think Dana blames anyone for complaining either. Nick Diaz is bossing- all he does is complain and you know he gets paid and Dana thinks its funny. He's not censoring these guys. If you're an undercard scrub you need to just pay your dues. Also, if you're a fight manager its your job to lobby for more money. So, its just how it is.

  • I'm going to have to side with the UFC on this. UFC promotes lots of fights and pays a lot of people. Its just a a tough sport. I think when you're training ever waking minute and losing your marbles I wouldn't blame someone for complaining, but I do think they do right by the fighters. ESPN is not going after a fair story. Why not present a balanced story and let the fans decide? The original piece is week and misleading. They try to make Lorenzo look like a creep.

  • Another thing.....no one put a gun to anyones heads and forced them in the octagon. If you dont agree with the pay, then dont sign the contract. Simple enough. If they have a more viable option than what they are currently being offered....then by all means go get or quit your bitching...bitch

  • @jerbrerizz94

Thats the issue though. Listen im not on anyones side here, but i think people should understand whats going on here at least UFC has bought up all their competetion, or out classed the growth of their competetion, so in fact they have a monoply. In a monopoly , the fighters have no leg to stand on when it comes to negoitating pay. Thats the problem. If you beleive UFC invented MMA, then i beleive they well within their right to do this. If you beleive they didnt , then... no.

  • @TonyMon16 The UFC is not a monopoly, take a look at Bellator. Recently purchased by Viacom a 5 billion dollar company, more mma companies are going to grow, more competion will rise which is good for the fans and fighters

  • @TonyMon16 They ended the monopoly investigation the other week. Verdict: They're not a monopoly.

  • @TonyMon16 So is MLB a Monopoly seeing how they are the only Major League Baseball organization?

  • @TonyMon16 espn doesnt have a monopoly.....

  • @TonyMon16 Ya your right Tony, its a shame that UFC (the creators of this sport) have a monopoly in a industry they built from nothing. Thats why I never watch NHL or NBA ... I only watch the other companies that support professional athletes at top level... oh wait ... there are none!

  • @TonyMon16 Why don't you try and gain a minimal understanding of economics before spouting your garbage. What the UFC has done in buying out their competition is absolutely legit and fair. As the UFC grows, it is able to offer events for a cheaper price to fans (economies of scale).

    PART 1 OF 2

  • As for fighter's pay, there is nothing wrong with what the UFC is doing. The fighters sign their contracts under no form of duress and do so on their own accord. If they're unhappy with the terms of their contracf, they're free to leave. This is how businesses operate, fuckface. I'd love to see the UFC grow to the size of other behemoth businesses like Walmart so that we can receive events for cheaper and events become far more frequent.

  • @ExplosionHurtedMe

Ehm so what? i could care less about your economics degree or where ever you got that garbage from. What ufc is doingwill actually make MMA less appealing in the long run, it will end up a joke like wwe, for a healthy enviroment healthy other organisations on a similar scale (shit up with bellator lol) are needed, that all work toghether like they do in boxing. UFC, promote, organize and hold events all themselves, thts plain wrong . PART 1

  • @ExplosionHurtedMe

    PART 2

The cost of watching UFC has only gone up, it hasnt gone down, so you are wrong there also. They are not interested in offering cheaper views, they only want profit, and if we have no where else to watch MMA, wtf else we gonna do. You probbaly havent finished your economics degree I assume, cause even i under stand this and i have no degree. Only right way is ufc became more like boxing with promoters seperate to organization, with more event, then monoply work

  • @ExplosionHurtedMe

also just noticed you tried insukting me in that crapfest of a post, LOL (he called me fuck face while , trying to prove how smart he is, wtf ..LOL), Thanks you just proved me right , that you obviouslly have no clue what you talking about, and i can now safley assume that you got your economics infor from the back of a corn flakes box, else you wouldnt get so heated lol (people get heated when they run out of smart things to say LOL).

  • @TonyMon16 UFC looks like a monopoly because there the only professional and well financed MMA Co. even the companies they brought up were not as well financed or well run...If ESPN or some other company wanted to start a MMA League they could and they could compete,Fighters have short contracts but UFC has a big head start that's all...they paid to get to where they are now and could have easily have closed down and gone out of business, but they choose to take a chance and this is there reward.

  • @TonyMon @jerbrerizz94 you are clearly not MMA fans.. it makes me sick!

  • Anyone who thinks UFC underpays their fighters.....Go fight for Gary Shaw, Go fight for Tom Attencio, go fight for Bodog, go fight for anyone where you make 1 big paycheck, nearly no sponsors, no residuals, etc. Anyone w/ a brain would agree that making stable money over years of work, as well as getting the sponsorship money for that type of exposure, will net you more lifetime income. Also, residuals. When was the last time you saw a Bodog DVD at Bestbuy? Exactly. Haters r fucking morons.

  • Also if Serra is good with it that says something. That dude doesn't lie or lay down for anyone.

  • My opinion is athletes in most other sports are grossly overpaid. Rather than arguing that fighters need more pay, I think we need to scale back what these other athletes are making. Fighters are paid a fair salary, and I love that they get paid for performance. Nothing like having someone getting paid $15M per year and warming the bench. The costs are passed down to us...ex. $9.00 for a 16oz beer. C'mon man!

  • espn is a company full of fuckhead biased dumbass reporters who think they run the company. these reporters and writers are just dumb as shit bricks who completely take personal opinion into their jobs. any real sports fan knows espn is a joke.

  • Dana White is the Don King of MMA.

  • I've been observing this guy from day one. Dana White is the Don King of MMA. He is exploiting the whole system and not giving the fighters their due. Why is the manager the star? Who gives a shit about this jackass. His days are numbered and he will hold on to milking this cash cow as long as people will put up with it. The athletes in MMA should be treated like athletes in EVERY OTHER SPORT!!! The athletes are the stars, they worked to be there. Pay them accordingly.

  • @chadmurphi you people are crazy not one fighting to day is talking shit about their pay but ARE just glade for the opportunity dont like it? GET OUT

  • espn SUCKS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Dana calling ESPN dirty is the pot calling the kettle black. Dana White can go to hell.

  • Its funny how the UFC fights are shown on ESPN in the UK haha

  • ESPN is to sports what FOX is to news. Glad UFC posted this eye opener for people who weren't already aware that ESPN is just a tabloid.

  • Tap out ESPN.

  • Who gives a fuck about ESPN? Only if you enjoy news about man in tights bending over every 32 second running after a ball or hog dog eating competitions perhaps. This is a real man sport no inflatable toys and no bullshit team sport news channel needed. This is the best sport on the planet and ESPN can suck a big fat cock. Dana and the Ferttitas will buy their own channel and bury you cockroaches (Montana's voice)... History says very clear....Don't fuck with Zuffa...

  • Comment removed

  • they cant handal a real dude like dana... dana is right and ppl why shuld the ifc be putting out crazy salaries for guys who are barely making an impact in the sport? they cant pay all that evenly jus to be fair.. in nba and nhl when a player barely plays you still kno of him.. am not gonna act like i kno the no nmae ufc fighters and wht they about i dont.. if wht this dude in the interveiw said is how it is i dont see a problem.. tehy pay hte faces of hte company wht they deserve.

  • this is right espn is all about basketball thats it, ufc and nhl are great sports and take the most beaten out of most athletes, they take the most damages (boxing is included in this aswell) but espn gives 2 craps they think basketball is the best sport in the world geez

  • IF you showed or made public the amount your paying each fighter they would get off your ass. Truth probably is The Casino brothers probably put money back into there casino because vegas isn't doing well. Thats what keeping there casino. They have the right it's there money there risk and we don't know what other make on endorsments ceartin things It can be that bad because you don't see them on strike with out the main fighters.

  • fuck dana and the ufc for complaining, its true that the guys at the bottom makes only a few thousand for training and fighting each fight! you can survive on that and the ufc makes over 50 million each card by far!! sometimes 5 times that!

  • go dana

  • fuck ESPN, they allow almost 1 BILLION people in the UK to watch the UFC Pay Per View events for FREE... That's the real story behind why Zuffa and Dana White is pissed. Follow the money. It's all about the money. Don't let either side fool you. UFC (Zuffa) is pissed because they can't sell their PPV events to half the world. The End...

  • @frankymafiaman 1 Billion people in the UK.... Trollololololol :D

  • @adrenalinian I meant to say Europe, but the fact still remains.

  • the people that disliked this video were upset at espn not this video

  • somebody just got bitched slapped with the truth

  • ESPN UK are really good for MMA

  • ESPN blows and Dana is 100 percent right, the journalist is fishing for a story in this interview. Good thing Dana and company had the camera on the journalist. Yep, ESPN is the mainstream media.

  • White noise from another rich guy.

  • Of course the people getting paid the best are champs and high level fighters, fighting is a decision and you are responsible for your training not to mention you determine what you make just like any other job. If you suck you shouldn't get paid top dollar, why are people complaining. You can make millions, if your not good you should try getting better if you aren't good enough do something else. It's like any job, athletes in other sports have ruined our reality on what people should earn.

  • It's not just the UFC there's a lot of pro fighters in the UFC and other promotions that still have to work other jobs just to get by. It's the nature of the sport. Only a few are going to make millions.

  • Fuck off Liddell ..asskisser

  • still if you compare other sports to ufc the fighter pay is really shitty. its that if you watch hockey the worst person on a team is contracted for like 500,000. In ufc the best person in a fight card with a bonus might earn 500,000 unless your gsp or anderson silva.

  • @kevinsta117 Comparing the UFC to the NHL is pretty fucking stupid. UFC on average puts out 1 fight event a month. While the NHL puts on 11 games a month per team.

If the UFC fighters can fight everyday like other sports who plays games every season. Than yes they would be able pay just as much as them. But since this a sport that don't use pads and have fake girly fights thats not gonna happen.

  • @TheZiggy112 The contract between the UFC and ESPNUK is ending by the beginning of fall. Don't expect Dana to renew that contract.

  • @TheZiggy112 STFU you dumbass you have NO clue about anything that goes on behind closed doors you dumbshit. You probably work at walmart and have no substance in your life so your trying to mislead people. Just shut your mouth you have NO idea what goes on in the world

  • The ESPN guy should eat shit and die for being such a faggot.

  • People need to stop being so easily led by everything Dana White says, He does business with ESPN on a regular basis. All the UFC fights televised in the UK are by ESPN. On one hand he's calling them "dirty" and on the other he's doing business with them. He's a fucking hypocrite, What kind of man does business with people he considers to be "dirty." Dana white has no moral fibre he doesn't know how to act like a man should.

  • And you hear them justify this pay by spitting phrases like "This guy got paid $6,000 for less than an hour's work. Where else can he make that kind of money?" And it's inaccurate doublespeak. They tell the fighters to show up ready to put on a show. That takes months of training. You don't just "show up" and beat a guy who has put in 3 months of work. That's like a business hiring you to translate Italian for one meeting. No way you're doing that unless you bust your ass every day to learn it.

  • Prelim fighters don't make enough money to support themselves, let alone a family. If White doesn't pay his fighters more then he's just going to price out talented athletes. Hey, it's served White well so far. His net worth is about 100 million dollars. I don't blame him for that. He did a good job getting wealthy off of these guys. He's fn smart.

But he has no room to criticize Lou Debella, Bob Arum, and Don King. He has fighters working 9 months a year for $20,000 while he makes 5 mil a year

  • fuck espn. nuff said.

  • lorenzo is a juice head gorilla. his arms are so big he can barely fit in that suit. look how tan he is. GTL

  • I thought Fertitta did a pretty good job of answering questions and concerns on the show, and ESPN wasn't really being trash. Just weak for not being objective. White is exactly correct when he says ESPN never covers the UFC or any of their fighters. They pretty much ignore them, even though the UFC is now huge. It's like only covering doping problems in track, or cycling. ESPN lives for football, baseball and basketball. That's 99% of what they cover. That's it.

  • Comment removed

  • what is dana talking about, espn does show mma on sportscenter and theres the show mma live on espn and on espn.com theres a whole section devoted to mma.

  • @sagatbalrog No they didn't. They were too busy showing hotdog eathing competitions LOL. They just started jumping on the bandwagon recently. They never showed it until it got really popular and they couldn't ignore it anymore. MMA Live is just a recap and news show. What Dana means is the kind of stories where they fully talk about the athletes. I've never seen one so Dana has a point.

  • @sit2go espn has point too. anybody that talks anything bad about the ufc will most likely get fired.

  • @sagatbalrog Like who? Tito Ortiz, he's still with UFC and is one of there highest paid fighters. The only people get fired are morons like Paul Daley.

  • @sit2go yea and paul daley didnt really talk shit about ufc.

  • @sit2go yea look at the nightmare tito had to go through jus to get his job back. he got fired reinstated like 10 times and in the end i heard tito was begging on his knees sucking dana's dick to give him a chance.

  • @sagatbalrog He wasn't fired you idiot. He quit. He thought he could make more money some where else. And Dana put him in big money fights the minute he came back. Sorry but if thats how they treat fighters that abandon the company and complains about them in the public. Then ESPN is more stupid than I thought.

  • @sit2go dana has said a million times "tito will never fight in the ufc" he wouldnt even allow any fighters to wear tito's punishment brand in the ufc for a few years. the commenators werent even allowed to say tito's name. you probably dont know all this cuz ur a noob. All fighers know not to say anything that might piss dana off or you get fired.

  • @sagatbalrog Actually I do know about this. Your the clueless one bitch. Since you think Tito was fired when actually his contract ran out and he chose not to resign with UFC. And everyting you just said is Dumb as fuck, because Tito came back to UFC and made big money anyway LOL.

Go back to sucking your daddy's dick nigger. Not getting your milk has made bitchy.

  • @sit2go look at you getting mad cuz i proved you wrong lol. being fucking BANNED from the ufc is like 10x worse than being fired. tito was banned you stupid son of a whore. because he asked for more money/fair pay. yea after like 5 years dana felt sorry for his broken back/neck ass and took him back. any fighter that questions dana/asks for more money, will also get banned/fired. get that through your shit brain u stupid cock sucking faggot.

  • @sagatbalrog Hahaha faggot here thinks he proved me wrong. I guess being a bitch when your suppose to be a man makes you delusional. And why would the UFC talk about Tito after he left them? What company talks about there former employees. You think Cavs talks about Lebron James and worships him after what he did. Ugh no dicklover. If thats your only argument faggot thats pathetic.

Hahaha the only faggot here is you and your dad.

  • @sagatbalrog every sport to horse racing has their own section on espn.com and mma live is that even on anymore i never see it

  • 275 $ LOL i cost him more to grt there

  • E.S.P.N. Is looking for shit that isn't there.

  • ESPN is a sports Mafia.

  • Dana is the man

  • Business as usual

  • out shit ESPN watch out

  • Dana is right on. When you go to McDonalds and place your order, does the cashier ask how much money you make? After all, wouldn't that be getting a 'fair' piece of the pie for a good or service? Imagine if that happened and you replied, "I will just go to BK." What if the cashier responded, "You are a bully." It is the same thing. The UFC is buying a product or service just like you do at McDonalds.

Advice to Dana: Hire a comedian like Tom Naughton to show how silly the ESPN logic is.

  • Why isn't ESPN doing a story on the NHL, NFL, or NBA about them holding a monopoly on their sport lol. This is a fucking joke seriously.

  • I have no idea about how these guys are paid, but all the fighters on this piece were champs. Of course they get a big piece of the pie. No journeymen, and of course, no lower echelon . Those 10k fighters Forrest spoke are usually the most exciting FIGHTS- the long time champs are just professional winners.

  • ESPN got owned!!

  • @FLOWBAMA jus like ur mom did last night by me

  • you do in the UK, ESPN is the only place to see UFC, Which is the best sport on the planet! The UK coverage is always of a very high standard maybe its different in the States.

  • @spaniardmale77 Ha! That's awesome! I'm not surprised guy was there, he's a BJJ brown belt under Renzo isn't he?

  • ESPN needs to realize that the people involved with UFC isn't in it JUST FOR THE MONEY! That's the problem with the mainstream world. Everything's based on cash. These fighters get payed great money, they just aren't GREEDY, that's all.

  • ESPN are full of arsewhole ofcourse they dont care about the sport they are in it for the money like every other company, but at the end of the day i cant watch UFC without them lol

  • Comment removed

  • 9:08 Lorenzo goes into bullshit mode

  • @blacklabel67k really?? where's your proof??...when are u retards goin to realize that the ufc n mma as a whole is still an infant sport...do some fuckin research and see how long it took the major sports to be able to pay their players big money...trust me it took a lot longer then 20 fuckin years

  • Dana White and the Fertita's deserve to reap the rewards of the risky investment they made when they purchased the UFC and financed it in the early years. There have been other promotions around between now and then ... some failed, some were acquired and some continue though at a much lower or regional level ... the market has rewarded the UFC because it has a superior approach to the business. But some people hate success and feel it is their calling to champion losers and criticize winners.

  • @IronMindCA Very well put.

"But some people hate success and feel it is their calling to champion losers and criticize winners." Spot on.

  • @IronMindCA

It's not about championing losers and criticizing winners. The world is a hard, greedy place. I don't expect the Fertitas and White to be any different. But it should be insulting to all of our collective intelligence to hear them talk about the great pay their fighters make when their athletes get only 10% of revenue (NFL players get 50%) and there is no minimum wage for fighters (some guys get $6,000 to train 3 months and fight). These guys talk out the sides of their mouths.

  • Every athlete makes money at the top of the sport. It's always the guys at the bottom of the card that leave with light pockets.

  • The UFC is awesome!!! I love these guys. They are on the level. If not people wouldn't keep fighting for them. Keep doing what you're doing.

  • Dana White is a piece of shit
