Agreed. God knows exactly what evidence it would take to make any given person believe in him... yet he withholds that evidence from the vast majority of humanity. Has he provided you with the evidence you need? Me neither.
The test of Biblical prophecy is that it is actually useful at predicting the future. Yet no-one can agree about what the Bible predicts. Seventh Day Adventists have recently stuck their neck out and claimed that, on the basis of Biblical prophecy, America will soon make Sunday worship mandatory. Let's just sit back and watch this prediction fail, shall we?
I cant believe how stupid people act... Of course we are related to monkeys... Look at our thoought processes. We have weee little monkey brains, obviously.
Matthew 24 doesnt talk about the end of the world but the end of the Jewish nation.
All these things DID happen when the Romans destroyed Jersusalem in AD 70.
The "sign of the Son of Man" is talking about Jesus being ressurected and seated at the right hand of the Father which Peter preaches in Acts chapter 2 and the giving of the Holy Spirit (I will gather my elect).
The stars falling refers to the jewish authorities.
The disciples asked about THAT age, not the end of the world.
Nonsense. The Jewish nation will not end. "But Judah shall dwell forever, and Jerusalem from generation to generation. For I will cleanse their blood that I have not cleansed, for the Lord dwelleth in Zion. Joel 3:20,21
This all happened just within 40 years after Jesus death, burial and resurrection. The Jewish Standard for a generation was exactly 40 years. So this prophecy was fulfilled in that generation, within the lifespan of the Lords disciples—exactly as Jesus predicted!

There is the basic problem. God does not predict; he knows the past present and future. But God must have wanted everything that has happened from the fall of Adam and Eve to today. Why drop a rock over your foot if you know it is going to hurt your foot?
My,my! Look how the evil wackos come out with no facts in tow, just attacks and lies to influence the ignorant. Just like satan. I'll bet everything I have all these atheists voted for Obama. Ignorance flurishes here.
Was there really any examples of the hundreds and hundreds of fulfilled prophesies made in the bible, or was this just bashing of other prophesies? Cos I didn't see any. I would've gladly seen just one example of a 100% accurate prophecy made in the bible, just for comparison. Cos you know, just showing that these other prophesies are false is just great, but it doesn't still prove bible to be accurate. Where are the 100% accurate prophesies?
He is talking to believers and presumes they have read the Bible and are aware as you should be before you show your ignorance in public. The Old Testament was 100%; The New Testament will scare the hell out of you; better read it to see what you are in for.
That's really cute dear, but see, I'm no believer, I'm an atheist. I was just curious to know like just for an example one such prediction made in the bible that would predict something outside the bible, that would be 100% true... Something that could've convinced me to look deeper into christianity and to prove my view wrong.. Nothing then, I guess...
Thank you. I actually listened to that some time ago and passed it on to many who don't believe the Bible is God's Word. I didn't recognize this clip from it. I think it's time to watch it again. Thank you, brother.
The birth place of the coming messiah, Jesus, was predicted in the book Micah 5:2 of Old Testament portion of the bible. That Messiah, Jesus, would be born of a virgin was foretold by Isaiah, Isaiah 7:14. We also understand from this verse that Messiah Jesus would be "God with us" which is the meaning of the name Emmanuel. His diety was also foretold in Is 9:6 where we are told his name will be the Mighty God. I have few words left So If you'd like more info LET ME KNOW
The child was born, called by the name Immanuel by his mother and the Assyrians defeated the two kings who threatened Ahaz and his people. The prophecy was fulfilled long before the author of Matthew dishonestly claimed that Jesus fulfilled it.
All that vague. ANY prophecy in the bible that is "supposedly" prophetic about an event that occurs after ad 300 when the bible was "official" is vague. No names, no dates, no exact what is going to happen. THAT IS NOT PROPHECY PEOPLE.
The same points Ray uses on Nostradamus holds true for the bible. SAME FRIGGEN THING.
The sun rises and the sun sets, and hurries back to where it rises. He sits enthroned above the circle of the earth, and its people are like grasshoppers. A circle is not a sphere.
Actually the Bible doesn't teach that the Earth is flat..the Old Testament was written in Hebrew..whereas the Hebrew People didn't have specific words as we do now for shapes and objects. so to say that the Bible teaches the Earth is flat is misinterpreting or being a skeptic of The Holy Bible. for the Hebrew People did know the Earth was what we call today "Sphere". (which is fromt he Greek Langauage.)
So there is no word in Hebrew for ball? Or anything describing one? Surely a sphere existed in the time, so surely there was a word that described it.
Oh really? have you read the bible my friend? Read genesis, whenever you get to the part when they describe the earth they clearly say it is suspended on four pillars, the sunset of one side is the sunrise of the other, and that the world has four corners (that is not in genesis though).
Granted, the bible doesnt actually say the earth is flat, but it describes it as flat.
Actually, the verse says that it is a circle. A circle is two dimensional, a sphere is three dimensional. Hence, the Bible, once again, says the Earth is flat, but this time that it is round, vice square.
Isaiah 40:22 - 22It is he that sitteth upon the circle of the earth, and the inhabitants thereof are as grasshoppers; that stretcheth out the heavens as a curtain, and spreadeth them out as a tent to dwell in:
There is not a shred of evidence that supports ANY predictions ANYONE has ever made, and that includes those in the bible. Jesus speaking about the end of the world and his return in Matt 24:34 ...
I tell you the truth, this generation will certainly not pass away until all these things have happened.
The prophecy has already failed folks, it was supposed to have happened in that generation, within the lifespans of his disciples. It did not.
