Cool. I'm currently making about 20k a year at the local airport here in STL. I am waiting for my tax return, then I'll take the course at my local community college, expanded to one day per week for 12 weeks, for a cost of $350(plus textbook $62.) Not bad, I think, and hopefully I'll be on my way towards LPN, then RN. Rock on CNA's - David
hello...i dont think there's anybody offering free cna classes...i paid mine for $450... training is only for a week compare to career centers cost you $6000 for a month to 6 months with the same tests!...good luck to you!
You might want to try nursing homes or long term care companies. I know here in Yakima,Wa they do offer free cna classes at some nursing homes, with the condition that you will work for them after you get your certificate, so give a try and good luck!

i live in jacksonville florida. $450 in one week train and thats it! you take the test and bamm you're CNA!

Some nursing homes might, but they might want you to work for them after you become certified. Thats how i got mine:)
