I laugh at all trying to defend Runes of Magic. I mean, the game is awesome, but i lol'd since everything is taking from WoW, and those things they changed was only so people could not call it a clone. IT IS a clone, to the extreme.

Fritti, despite popular belief, when you have a set number of beta testers playing the game for a set amount of time, they're gonna miss a few things.And when you release the game to a wide audience those problems will arise.Every game that has ever come out in existence has had buggs, especially MMORPGs.But thats why they do this thing called 'patches'. And thats why theres this thing called 'common sense'. Try using it.

I haven't played this game yet, but from what i can tell from watching videos and visiting the website, its a superior compilation of several other MMORPGs. The interface looks almost identical to WoW, yes, and even the gameplay is vastly similar. But the options and default modifiers trump WoW in the long run. It sucks you an only be a human, as of now. But if the game takes off (and i have no doubt that it will) i'm sure we'll see much more content/races/quests etc. to come. Also: It's FREE!!!

Every company rips ideas off others. It's been this way for the last 2-300 years, maybe more. WoW stole ideas from other games, even tho they got their "own lore". Same will mostly go for other companies developing mmo's. Yet, it's always in the eye of the beholder. If you are highly addicted to a certain game then it's easier "to spot a rip-off". Always a matter of personal taste, wether you want to spend 8 to 10 hours for a single item or if you just want to sit back and enjoy.

LOL it actually depends on what your doing. If your raiding black temple in WoW, WoW is better. if your lvling up, killing bosses and doing quest, runes of magic. I play both. I HATE lvling in WoW, its a grindfest!! Grr (atleast its not as bad as silkroad) but private servers are pretty cool..
