Ike/Soren make a really cute couple. Anyone finding this unpalatable should simply hit the back button and look for something else that strikes their fancy. I played the game in JAPANESE aka the version that was created first and foremost. Ike's ending is pretty much open but its pretty much implied that he's not straight. Soren is pretty much the closest he gets to having a ROMANTIC relationship. I played it, I beat it, I've seen it. Maybe when our so called civilized western society pull its head out of its closed-minded rear end we won't get botched up translations. How does one unlock this touching moment in RD? I'm on chapter 5-2 right now, and I'd like to know before I get any further.

1) Deploy BK in 1-E
2) Have an A support with Ike and Soren
3) Attack Miciah with Soren in 3-7
4) Attack BK with Ike in 3-7 and have both survive
5) Attack Pelleas with Soren in 3-E
6) Bonus scene

It's from a secret information thing in the lasts levels of RD. Where Ike tells soren about how they met. Soren starts to cry and ike comforts him. Not gay at all.

You know, I'm an American heterosexual woman, but I'll be the first to admit, freely, that America has far too many issues with homosexuality that much of the rest of the world doesn't have.
America just needs to put on its big-girl panties and DEAL with it, and stop acting like homosexuality is a condition that will go away just because the theolgians get up on their pulpits and piss and moan about it.

I think that they will never explain his true sexuality love. I think they do that so the people can decide. What about fanfics of Ike x Pit or Ike x Zelda. Some people might think that Ike or someone else is Gay, but it can be hetero instead. Anyway it doesn't matter. That's why shippings exist. They believe in that relationship... but someone could believe in the other ship. Ike is the side that you think.
I hope i dont have brought someone to madness.BTW: I dont know ike much,only in Brawl

I found this to be touching. If Ike and Soren have a relationship in the Japanese version, it at least explains why Ike's not too much interested in any of the women he meets.
Gay or straight, we all deserve someone. I wouldn't want Ike, or anyone real for that matter, to spend their life alone.

If you pay attention, you'll notice that all the previous lords get married at the end of their games. Ike meanwhile, dissapears, so really his sexuality is never explained.

Ike disapppears forever in his. He can bring along either Soren or Ranulf. First lord with only male paired endings. Not proof, but definitely notable.

Though there's definitely a big difference between leaving each behind...
Soren never utilises the one thing he knows about(strategy) again once Ike leaves. This means he essentially refuses to make strategies for the Greil Mercenaries if Ike is not among them. I'd say he takes Ike leavinng rather hard.
Ranulf simply goes on as per usual as Skrimir's advisor.

I played the game in JAPANESE aka the version that was created first and foremost. Ike's ending is pretty much open but its pretty much implied that he's not straight. Soren is pretty much the closest he gets to having a ROMANTIC relationship. I played it, I beat it, I've seen it. Maybe when our so called civilized western society pull its head out of its closed-minded rear end we won't get botched up translations. On another note, learn to be tolerant kid and get away from the hatred.

dude, ike and soren are definitly not gay. granted, they did have an unusually tender moment in radiant dawn, yet it wasn't gayness, it was a friend caring for his friend. ike should've ended with elincia in my opinion, instead he "left" the continent and elincia married geoffrey. (how the hell did he leave tellius in the first place. all other lands were sunk during to great flood)
