The location of the wave is more important than the athlete? So hypothetically if an athlete were to break a world record at the olympics the credit goes to the country it was performed in,not the athlete? Every country in the world that fronts an ocean gets 90 foot waves, not every country has such an amazing athlete. Perhaps next time an athlete of Portugal breaks a world record in track in the U.S. we should take credit since it was "our" wind that helped propel him along.
