this cts is that a new strat !!! where can i know more about this cts strat u play!!?? it has a sweet sound!!1 like it.. just not familiar with the CTS brand much lol.
nice man, you know any bands that use thes crazt licks, im into death metal, hard rock, nu metal, bands like deftones. behemoth, killswitch engage etc?
you are great guitarist. do you have plan to publish some original instrumental compositions? my friend has about 10 copyrighted (93-2k) original instrumental compositions (0_0)
For the record: There are no chorus on this recording. Only distortion and some delay. Maybe it's the suttle slap back echo from the room that sounds like chorus to you.
whats up my friend ,I do agree some guitarist without sustain cannot pull half of their licks off,I always say try it on an acoustic and we will see how well you hands sound. Then again being a great guitarist is also to have not just an ability but also to be rcognized for working hard on your guitar sound as well. but I do agree
What I also mean largely by "magic" is the riff sounding impossible to learn. One day I realized all the shredders I was hearing were always using a tiny bit of chorus and it wasn't some secret technique I had never seen or heard of.
Up until that point, I thought it was the way the notes were being sequenced. Oddly enough, the next thing that had me baffled was the sound of string skipping riffs till I saw a couple vids of them. Combine them with some modulation/depth and they sound impossible
100 percent correct.i have seen other guitarist whom also capo down so the action is a 64th off the string and claim to shred with lightning speed.take off the capo or true sound their technique isnt as good and the licks seem possible.great example was early Halen one of my childhood idols.without his sound his licks would have seemed more easy to pull off.but with his sound they were overwelming and seemed so impossible to recreate.
I get a bit moody after I've played a guitar long enough where getting the action to a 64th is no longer possible cuz the neck gets a slight twist to the left but, I do it to all of them from heavy use. Can't disagree either, it hinders speed when you can't get the action so absurdly low. Slower speed means a complex lick sometimes isn't as impressive. At the same time I have some really bizarre, unique riffs that without that action, are difficult to nail. If only action were in a stomp switch!
are you insane!!!!!!!!!!this guys technique is first class and one of the most talented guitarist out there.I have played with all the greats ,this guy is right up there!
his technique is really nice.. but he still plays some naughty sounds.. and of course i have also played with plenty great guitarrists.. and thats why I do have an opinion...
Enjoyable, but I would really, really like to hear it done clean and dry through the amp. Nicely done.

@CaptainNensho
Actually it definitely IS a Legato lick.
eope111 1 year ago
@eope111 What i think he is trying to say is that he can clearly disassociate the picking notes from the hammerons and pulloffs.
Legato means pretty much "Tied together".
What that means is that the notes should overlap with the next. So any rough picking will make a staccato-like sound and it wont sound as fluid.
Not saying this is a bad lesson or anything, he still gives you a good lick. But i understand what CaptainNensho is saying.
And Technically he is right

My only criticism is the depth and modulation effects. Take them away and a lot of the "magic" is lost.
