All having a lead foot will do for you is chew the mud which your tyres are using to grip.

You need to use wheel spin for deep mud. You have to spin your tires so the lugs will clean themselves and get traction. Yes, there is a difference between useless mud slinging and real mudding, but crawling through a mud hole is just stupid.

Ever watch a mud bogging contest? It's all pedal to the floor for a reason.

Stick to what you know and I'll do what I know works. Momentum is king in the mud, and that is all you need to know.
