  • I'm dancing

  • Is this the Dry Rub you use on most of your Videos?

  • I smoked 14 pounds of butts this past weekend using this dry rub and it was delicious. People raved about the taste. I had hoped to freeze some but all 14 pounds got consumed. Thanks for the excellent recipe!! It's got a home in my recipe book now.

  • cut back on the salt if your going to use this rub for ribs. its great on butts tho.

  • Dosen't suger burn it ?

  • Trying this in my sous vide setup right now. I substituted Ideal sweetener for the sugar; I'll letcha know how it turned out. Thanks for putting it in TEXT on the screen, made it easy.

  • WHATS THIS?! YOU WORE A APRON AND GLOVES?! you aren't a real man back in the day xP

  • 1337bbq!

  • I don't think PETA has a problem with people eating animals. Seems like a straw-man conspiracy to me. I think they have a problem with cruel treatment of them.

    *

Ted Nugent has made a living recently with the old straw-man trick. There is one born every minute, as they say.

  • @g4macdad No Mac your wrong. They are animal rights people....they are against the eating of animals. Do not mistake them for an animal welfare group. Animal rights: think people and animals have the same rights. Animal welfarist simply wish them to be treated an humane manner. That makes you not just a sucker for PeTA but simply wrong.

  • @DontTreadOnMeVa

Ethical treatment implies humane treatment, but I could be wrong.

All I know is, that Ted Nugent is a charlatan making money off of the weak minded.

  • send me some pork with this

  • @alphakristjan pork butt is another name for the shoulder, where you make pulled pork from. I don't know why it's called this since it's actually opposite the actual "butt"

  • A personal preference is using brown sugar in place of the white sugar. AWESOME rub, keep up the awesome vids!!!

  • idk where to buy those big quatitys of spices :(

  • idk where you live but you can find them at most ware house store such as Sam's club, Restaurant depot etc...

  • There's a Sam's Club in Gardena on Artesia near the 90 fwy. and Western. You can also find large quantities of spices at any local Smart & Final and those are located everywhere.

  • @BarbecueWeb why not mix with your hands

  • hey Jeder, you're spot on,... but we always say it's all relative when it comes to the types of spices and the amounts you use. Learn the basics, the technique, and then it's up to the Q chef to find the taste he/she's after. -BBQ Pit Boys

  • The guy in the video put way too much Kosher salt in this dry rub, any one who has used Kosher salt knows how easy it is to put too much. I will try this mix of ingredients but with much smaller amounts.

  • Actually Coarse, Kosher, Sea, Cooking salt ETC are larger granular and less salty tasting than regular table salt. It is preferred by chefs and Pit Boys all over for many reasons. The recipe quantities suggested here is for a basic Pork Dry Rub, but if you believe there's too much salt then cut back for sure! Thanks for stoppin' by! -BBQ Pit Boys

  • also could you do some videos on whole beef chuckroasts on smoker?i like pork, but beef is great too.please try and make some to post-your pork recipes are fonomaly great-simply the best i ever tried thank you so much, junior in alabama

  • ha ha ha i love that about the skunk......man yall guys be something else.......good eatin bbq pit boys

  • Where do you get containers of paprika that HUGE? I've only seen the tiny shakers you get at your typical grocery store.

  • -restaurant supply or Wholesale Clubs in the States.

  • maaaaaan!!! that sounds delicious for some pork butt or possibly a rump roast

  • Thanks for the recipe! :)

  • And, thanks for stoppin' by!
