I will point out something that has nothing to do with the fact of the abnd's quality musically. I go to Ohio State and I was at the game this past season. USC won a good game that they deserved to win, however bands are told before hand that OSU has a tradition of playing our Alma Mater after every game win or lose and with that knowledge they continued to play the fight song over our band. This was classless and something no other band that comes to Ohio State (even the ones who win) do.

They aren't wearing them here, but when I saw them they looked very unprofessional wearing baseball caps and sunglasses in uniform and I stand by the fact that people from Southern Cal and the area around the school brought it up. I honestly wasn't thinking about our band compared to theirs because it was HS vs Collegiate and I know what the difference between those two levels can be as I've continued with music as a degree.

What funny is my high school played at an exhibition show at the Rose Bowl festivities back when they played Texas and people FROM USC said we were twice the band they were.  Not band members mind you but USC fans who knew nothing about the fact that we were from the midwest and what we were about. This band is a hack that even a high school band could easily out-perform them.

The Spirit of Troy performed at the Oscars &Grammy Awards for the same reason they've performed everywhere from the Great Wall of China to Rio de Janiero to Berlin: they were invited. Radiohead,which is very un-Hollywood asked the USC Marching Band to perform with them at the Grammys.Park and blow my ass-this just isn't their best video. I don't know if the band won a Grammy for "Tusk" w/Fleetwood Mac,but assorted SC grads have for other recordings.

tenors come in different sets: 4, 5, and 6. Quads are a set of 4 tenors. Quints are a set of 5. Six-Packs are a set of 6 tenors.

But, some people do just call them tenors. It really doesn't matter either way.

I love "The Kids Aren't Alright" but I'm going to be honest, I thought it was going to have a better sound to it, I don't know if it's just where the camera is located or the camera sucks, but the quality of the sounds isn't that great. Our band plays this and honestly I think it sounds amazing. And were only in high school..

this is 2 years ago. i saw them perform this at a scrimmage at the coliseum, and it was amazing, they sounded much better than this. i like it almost more than the original ....(well almost i love offspring)

Come on, listen to tell me and see how god awful they sound. Crap, even Florida's band sounds better, and that's bad.
