Actually, Venus flytraps are good! They are completely harmless to anything bigger than a small frog and they keep away pests. I have three in pots on my windowsill. They keep the house pest free and it is fun to make them close on your finger. It doesnt hurt. Oh and they wont grow in most gardens anyway.
