Well better graphics than FM sure, but if i wanted graphics over gameplay in a management sim, id go for fifa manager...never played it thou, so i have no idea what its like tbh.

FM graphics are functional, everything works and 99% of the time everything makes sense. in this, well, it looks like 22 headless chickens with a ball.

slightly better graphics mean F all, when you consider its a management sim. Hell, we've played for years with little dots and before that, just text!

As a huge championship manger fan from the very first time they came out on PC, I have to say this game is shocking, Full of endless bugs, total rip off for 25 quid, The reaserch done on clubs is as far off as mars!

SI made championship manager, there was some sorta tangle with edios the publisher, so the makers of CM, packed up their shit and made Football manager instead. which has been since a far superior game.

i just bought this game on ebay and if the game play is going to be like i will fucking smash my computer into pieces... this games play hq but the game play is absolutely shit in this video its like its fucking 7 year olds playing i hope this is just the demo and my cm will be better than this... last time i played cm was cm03/04 was wikid so am excited about wot this will be like

CM 03/04 is not related to CM10 it is made by different companies.

The people that made CM 03/04 also made FM10.

CM was made by Sports Interactive from 1993 to 2004. In 2004 Sports Interactive started making FM. In 2004 a new company started making CM and started from scratch. The only thing they had was the name CM.

So when your keeper decides to run up to the half way line with the ball, how on earth can you say to him? "Excuse me what the fuck were you doing up there" You cant, Now you see keeper mistakes every wk. But running past the defence plain fucking stupid. And this backing off bollocks would piss me off. It seems to simulate endless passes of ar'd 50 a time, now in real football, when shit like that happens its then classed as the greatest goal ever lived. In this game there was 7 of them!!!

On the proper version to City have players like Adebayor, Tevez, Toure, Lescott. Because on the demo the only new players on it are Taylor, Barry & Santa Cruz

In my opinion the match engine is completley unbelivable and very buggy (note the goal where the keeper practically runs to the half way line before loosing it!) i can't wait for FM2010, the best manager sim i think at the moment

@tommy444777 dude get football manager 10, I've been a CM fan since the year 2000 and when the company split the people who made the game went off the make FM. The people who made CM only had the same name. Just trust me Football Manager is much better

I know you posted this comment ages ago but I'm replying anyway.I a CM boy bought this game. Loved it even though it's buggy. I had Rangers in the CL and had a Nani 25 yard screamer that went into the top corner disallowed because a player was stood in an offside position. Nowhere near play. After that I bought FM and have been converted. Although I have has similar experiences on FM also. I've had a player take a corner and then be flagged offside even before the ball has reached the box.

i play the game.. its okay.. some bugs in it still.. but over all its okay, if a bit too easy!.. I started with Charlton Athletic, Promoted twice in 2 seasons, Won the League cup in the championship, and in my first season in the Premiership im 3rd after 18 games.. I've spent 32 million in 4 season total.. its a bit unbelieveable if you ask me! but still fun if you dont like to loose! lol

The AI of this game sucks so hard... Players often pass the ball to opponents, i even saw RFBack all by him self getting a stoped ball from the end line and put it to corner kick... How can you even compare this to Football Manager?
