Feraligatr looked 400x better with dark green skin like in G/S. It looked badass back then, now it just looks kinda fucked up.

It never had dark green skin. The graphics weren't as good as they are now, back then, so they could only use two colours, along with black & white. And they chose dark green only because it was a shading colour, which they had to use because of the white highlighting.

Yes, but they changed it in Crystal, meaning they could have given it normal skin in G/S.

G/S had a coloring error that made it look awesome, now it just looks faggy.

Totodile, because when it evolves into Feraligatr, It Learns Ice punch, which can beat you're rivals starter easy :), and I think totodile was the best starter out of all. (aswell as chickorita & cyndaquil) but I really liked totodile ^^

totodile! by the end it has a very nice set of moves. dynamicpunch, ice punch, (probably) hydro cannon, and bite. it's a great combination for the jhoto elete four.

Step 1: Get a friend that has the same game to hold on to your first pokemon (Pick whichever one you like.)

Step2: Send him or her your pokemon.

Step 3: Start over again and choose a new pokemon and repeat the process you did with the first one.

Step 4: Choose a pokemon and get your friend to trade you back the two other starters!

Result: You now have all three starters and dont have to choose! XD

what feraligatr was actually the weakest one. It had high attack and def stats, which discouraged use of water attacks, while typhlosion had sp atk so it could land powerful fire moves and meganium made a good tank and healer. Last one I would've picked.

well, in the first game you as the player was called red (as pokémon red was the prominent of the three) but most people who watch the animé call him ash, it doesn't make much difference as Red and Ash are the same character anyway. and yes. Feraligatr pwns

Chikorita was the best long term.

Freraligator had a ton of moves that didnt do it any favors (considering it's not so great special attack) and despite how good typlotion was, meganium could support a team extremely well, and was better overall.
