it depends on how clear is up there, but if gets clear enough you can film all season long.

You can block out the sun pretty much with everything for example; house roof, street light pole, a piece of cardboard, buildings, etc. THEY ARE EVERYWHERE.

Between 10am to 3pm is the perfect time to try this out, but if it is a very clear sunny day (summer) no matter the time.

They are busy all the time, moving around sometimes in a massive group (thousands or millions)

I have seen many, too many at night, they look like stars moving slowly or fast (no shooting stars) they get visible and vanish in a matter of seconds, using binoculares look like a very bright sphere.

I have not got any video because my camera does not have night vision.

Spectacular stuff...downloaded it for closer review. Five stars, plus, plus!! At 2:40 thru 3:17 there are definite aerial dogfights going on, and it seems like there are magnetic forces used in the propulsion systems, accompanied by solid impact at several points. Also, at 4:50 I see airbraking from a high speed, followed by erratic hovering. Very good capture!! Nice intro, btw, and what great ,relaxing funky music.
