How does he pull off couture so well? I just wonder how the designers that are watching off stage make this wearable. The only person I can see wearing these clothes is the Queen of England. He still though is a genius in an un touchable type of way.

CD by John Galliano is the best label nowadays .Ain't nobody can beat this label in Haute Couture,it is simply the best.John galliano is a pure genius and I consider him the best couturier in the world and the second best in the whole century ,because obviously Christian Dior himself has is to be thanked for the magnificent new look that he introduced to the world back in his day.

I agree. everybody says that Chanel has the best couture and they claim to be the only house that actually makes a considerable profit from their couture, but their stuff is nowhere near as creative, opulent and decadent as this and never will be.

@emil1317 I know, right?...I mean the only thing Chanel did good was making Monsieur Dior's version of "The New Look" work appropriate for working girls but there is no Haute couture in it at all, plus she used mostly fabrics like jersey that were only worn by senile women no offense and all to the latter, but it isn't cool for modern day girls, so if u ask me, the only good collection by Chanel would be HC 2009 F/W, but Lagerfeld has nothing on Galliano's creativity and sense of Haute Couture.

@emil1317 Also each and every collection done by John Galliano for Dior is full of creativity and "Parisian Chicness" which most, if not all women lack nowadays.J.Galliano really embodies the spirit of Monsieur Dior not just in creativity but also in accentuating the feminine body and making it glamorous, attractive and sexy but not in a slutty way .P.S.Chanel's claim to sales in their Haute Couture is a total lie, although it needs women with really high sense of fashion and taste to pick DIOR.

@Fatsy1 thats very true. I personally have no idea if Chanel is lying but I do know that they dont hold a candle to Dior. Anybody can make clean simple lines and make it look elegant but it takes a significantly higher level of sophistication, creativity and taste to make create something over the top and opulent without being gaudy or "too much" Galliano truly is a master

best opening to a show ever, bar none. the show itself wasn't always so great, but the opening is incredible. and I hate galliano and karolina glaucoma, normally.

what it DOESN'T show is karolina falling off the runway because the dress is so big, and erin (at the end) having to be lifted off by two burly men because her dress was so heavy.
