Shea Stadium was the peak of the Beatlemania hysteria. The screaming was non-stop for the entire show and ambulances came to haul away girls who had collapsed. It was insane. They quit touring shortly thereafter, and their really good work began.

Here's a thought: the majority of those screaming girls are now old grannies from 60 to 70 years of age. Time flies when you're rockin' and rollin', man.

That's not easy playing that way... sometimes things appeared to get out of control (see John at 2:50). They had to pretend everything was ok and go on with the show. The ecstasy kid's face at 3:59 would be right as my face if I was there!!! Twins steric girls on 4:37? They've got the same clothes? Is Brian Epstein - Beatles' manager - at 8:19? He looks terrified, lol.
