Funny little thing I can't seem to understand, and if someone would like to enlighten me I'd appreciate it, but what is the purpose of this WTC7 argument?

I mean let's assume it was collapsed by the government, but why? Did they think to themselves "well I don't think knocking down the twin towers will do it but if we knock building 7 it'll make ALL the difference."

Good question. WTC7 is a very good introduction to 9/11 Truth because the structural failure of WTC7 perfectly matches what would be expected in a standard controlled demolition.

By contrast, the twin towers' demolitions were non-standard: they started at the level of the alleged plane impacts and they ejected the outer members of the frames away from the buildings' perimeters.

@DanUuNoel: Nobody died in WTC7 and it´s been admitted that it was "pulled". The best introduction to 9/11 Truth I believe is what followed the events. They showed that clip of the Palestinian children dancing in the street over and over on all channels in Germany and from that I knew on the day itself that the event was about the "Arab-Israeli conflict". 9/11 is one puzzle in a much larger picture.

Emerald has a point. Why did the 9/11 conspirators demolish WTC7 on top of the twin towers? This is one of many unanswered questions of 9/11. Also, why did they demolish it so late in the day? why not right after the North tower? In the absence of a thorough, independent and public criminal investigation, these questions stay unanswered.

WTC were the only skyscrapers in history to supposedly fall from fire, there are plenty of example where buildings were completely engulfed in fire and did not fall. The steel used in construction of these buildings had a thermal resistance higher than that of any fire that could have been in the building. jet fuel could not have made fire hot enough to melt the steel or even weaken it to the point of collapse.
