It's hard inside the plastic pieces, but you have a soft silicone membrane between the plastic part and your iPhone/ iPod.

It has a soft silicone member which you put around your iPod, then two pieces of hard shells/ cases, one go across and one goes top and down. Which holds the case really nice, feels like a solid piece.

The silicone membrane basicly protects everything (scratch, chock protection) and the hard plastic pieces, very nice case.

There is only 8GB and 16GB version, the 16GB version is $299 with their iPhone plan. I can't tell you how much I pay a month but what you should do is to go to Rogers and get your best deal plan.
