The only thing that I don't like is the interviewer. He introduced George as if he was his biggest fan, yet he had no idea about who George was and what his values were.

For fuck's sake, he asked George if he believed in God, and then later seemed alarmed at the fact that George roots for disasters.

George was at his best though, and I loved George and he basically said everything that I've ever thought, right down to the details of why I love earthquakes.

Art Bell displays a shocking lack of understanding of basic science. We co-evolved with our primate relatives, we did not evolve "from" them. We evolved from common ancestors. And a flare from the sun would NOT deposit a thin layer of iridium at the K-T boundary. I think the point I'm trying to make is that there is an upper limit as to how powerful an earthquake can be. Due to tectonic, volcanic or other inner Earth activity. Like you said the only thing in the earths past that even comes close is the hypothesis of the collision that created the moon. Though even that probably isn't equal to 10 trillion times a crustal shift. I'm thinking outright obliteration like getting caught in a black hole.

WOW a 25 scale earthquake lets try to put that in perspective shall we. The earthquake from the movie 2012 which shifted the earths crust was about a 12. A 25 DAMN!! I'm no expert but I do know the richter scale works in powers of 10 which would make it 10 trillion times more powerful than that. Thats no earthquake that is our planet exploding. Am I wrong?

@DeathBYDesign666 Good point,... a 25 (or there about) on the Richter scale is only detected in starquakes that I'm aware of, but potentially equal to something like an impact as per the hypothesis on how the moon formed (from the collision of a proto-planet).
