@rightwing52000 The Philistines from biblical times have no connection whatsoever to the so-called "Palestinians". The Philistines are an extinct civilization like the Amorites, the Moabites, and the Babylonians. The modern term Palestinian first came into use after the 1967 six day war in Israel to describe Arab refugees in the territory won by Israel. They are Arabs but Arafat knew if he used that term, he could fool enough people into believing that they have a claim on that land. They don't.

@Msmira3 The term "Palestinian" as it is understood today was created after the six day war to distinguish that group of Arabs from other Arabs. They are the same people as they were before that term was created, with the same ethnicity as their Arab neighbors in Jordan and Egypt. I don't know what you're talking about with IDs, but as you wrote, Jews had the same IDs. Are Jews also Palestinians? The Arabs want the land of Israel for themselves and they want the Jews dead.

@koyunbaba73 you say " I don't know what you're talking about with IDs"...that just tells me how much you don't know,.so I suggest you educate yourself really well on the subject..watch videos about history that are even done by jews so you don't think it is biased,.Nakba videos on u tube will tell you a lot about history before Israel was formed.Jewish historians tell a lot.I have met an elderly jewish person who showed me an old ID of hers, before Israel was founded, Palestinian was on the ID.

@koyunbaba73 Also, there were more Arabs than jews in the region, they were/are the inhabitants of the land, they can't be denied no matter what they are called...Most of the current Israelis are immigrants from Europe came to the land after Israel was formed...Palestinians didn't/don't have a capital or currency, but they exist and have rights like any other.....they should not be kicked out from where they were born and have lived for hundreds of years...

What the Jews of Israel say is that they would like to live alongside a Palestinian state, and they have offered on several occasions 97%+ the land that the Palestinians say they want. In return for that offer Palestinians blew up children in pizza restaurants.

@koyunbaba73 I know that Palestinians have made several bad decisions, but while Israel sat and offered part of the land the Palestinians wanted, more settlements were built and more land grab was taking place...Israel's actions spoke louder than its empty words, having said that, both have made horrible decisions that wasted innocent lives on both sides...while one used bombs and tanks, the other used suicide bombings, rocks and shellings...
