  • she now wants a red ferrari motor car

  • WHERE do you make your own designs to be uploaded to the machine? Ive bin searching but i found no luck.

  • can you do regular sewing with this machine??

  • @4everDesignAndCreate Yes, definitely. My wife uses this machine for sewing everything.

  • ok I got this machine in July, and I can not figure out how to embroidery more than 3 letters..for ex..Campbell...how do I do this and where is a step by step video that can show me how to do different things,,,I didn't think the video was all that greaT..thanks in advance,Dotti

  • @doebabyrn You will probably get a better response if you don't criticize the person's video. Wow.

  • Her fabric is too loose! It needs to be pulled tightly in the hoop or her designs will not look good.

  • @Cowgirl539 She did not have stabilizer under the material, that is why it looks loose =)

  • Of info on how to use it. Thanks

  • Oops I will be adding to last comment. After trying to use it we cant get it to work. Would you know of a source

  • Dear Carlmober, my daughter's school principal purchased this model to embroider the student's polo shirts with the school's logo. After several parents

  • I'm not too sure about thicker materials. My wife makes quilts with the standard sewing machine setup. The one I bought came with a single standard sized loop. We haven't tried caps, so I can't comment either way. Best of luck!

  • @carlmoberg You can buy a cap hoop for this machine, it will go up to 5X7. This and the Project Runway machine are apparently identical.

  • Do you know if it works well on thicker material? By thicker I mean martial arts belts and uniforms. Does it come with the adapter for embroidering caps? Thanks.

  • hi it has a usb port to transfer images from a usb or not? tnhks

  • @crazyluisito1

I believe the usb is only for connecting to the computer. If you want to transfer custom images to the machine, you will need some special Brother software called PE-Design. I believe the current version is PE-Design Next and it can do this, but it is quite expensive...

  • @crazyluisito1

Yes, U can use a USB stick (pendrive) to transfer custom designs

  • So is this working well still? Any problems with it?

  • @spluloacle

It's still working great! My wife uses it many times per week, and still good as new. It's definitely the best gift I've ever given her!

  • You can definitely use this machine as a very nice regular stitching machine as well. It's a simple changeover from embroidery to regular stitching. Highly recommend it!

  • hey i want to give this machine to my mom as a gift, but want to know whether u can do regular stitching with this one..my mom does embroidery but she does regular stitching of dresses/blouses more...please let me know

  • hi. im lookin into gettine an embroidery machin and was wondering if this has USB suport. i want to design my own logos using my pc and need to know if it supports it.

  • @vashpr

I just bought this same one Brother SE-400 because of the embroidery and it does come with a USB cable to connect from your laptop (Desktop) to the sewing machine.

  • i just got this machine and haven't figured out exactly how to monogram yet. Still reading the book. I would like to see how the stitch was selected and more of a demo of how you get to this point. Can't be that difficult, guess i just have to dig in and go for it.
