Matt Hughes was in his prime the FIRST time they fought and he was lucky to submit GSP then.

Doesn't matter, Hughes never should've been champ in the first place. Watch that Carlos Newton fight...if anything, they were BOTH out. Double knockout, belt stays with the champ.

let's be fair to the guy though, he successfully defended the title 5 straight times after that (defeating Carlos Newton a second time fair and square), Hughes proved that he deserved the belt. And about him getting "lucky" in submitting GSP, u could easily say that about any fighter in any match-up.  When BJ Penn submitted Matt Hughes in the end of RD 1 in their first fight a lotta people considered that to be lucky as well.
