  • That child will remember driving that John Deere tractor for the rest of his life!! All children love stuff like that. Great job on the tractor.

  • It wasn't any ordinary John Deere lawn tractor to begin with; the 300- and 400-series tractors were designed for commercial use.

  • Nice!

  • @jameswindsor022 , Your about one stupid motherfucker, and a rude cocksucker as well.

  • @shovel79jon

Take this off. We do not need this!!

  • @brianbaron1 Sorry, i was just sticking up for the guy who built this. I like the crawler, but if you would look at jameswindsors022 's COMMENT, YOU MIGHT KNOW WHAT I MEAN. SORRY THAT I OFFENDED YOU. GO CHEW ON THE OTHER GUYS ASS FOR CALLING THIS NEAT TRACTOR A PIECE OF SHIT!!!!!!

  • @brianbaron1 As i was scrolling down, i think you need to look at more comments by jameswindsor022 and leave me the FUCK ALONE. Once again, all i was doing was taking up for the guy who built this. Do a little more research before you go telling me what do!!

  • @jameswindsor022 dude wtf is your problem

are you mad that your probly to stupid to even know where to start on how to build this

i hope you get killed you sorry fucking prick

  • @jameswindsor022 you call the man stupid? your smarter beacaue you go online a hate on people while hes creating things for him and his grandson to enjoy? dam your an idiot

  • @dylanprice00 i believe you meant to type 'damn'

  • @jameswindsor022 ohh i left a letter out that shows how much of a prick you are.

  • wow brill bit of kit, very professional looking you'll have to do a vid on how you built it ...

  • what a great rig to plow my driveway with

  • John deere and top gun. Awesome.

  • Pretty cool.

  • Love it! How powerful though, other than wood-chipping?

  • Very cool.

  • Wonder how you steer it

  • Love the front end PTO! I had thought about this myself minus the tracks, love it!

  • My kid would have gone nuts to have drivin something like this. He would sleep on it.

  • Every little kid deserves a Grandpa this cool !!!

  • this is officially COOL. that little boy probably thought that is THE COOLEST thing on earth. hell, I'm 23, and I think its one awesome machine.

  • American ingenuity at it's finest!

  • this. has. changed. my life. thank you so much. one queston, how would u make this hydrostatic ttransmision work like that?

  • How did you make the chipper for it?

  • pretty dumb music Bro!

  • Nothing better than good old American ingenuity, very nice work

  • But does it mow O_o Looks cool though

  • Hi, is the wood chipper home built too or is this a purchased unit?

  • how in the hell did u do that

  • How much did the track setup cost?

  • You need to post this on the John Deere facebook page!

  • That is the most useless, redneck thing I have seen in a long, long time... man, do I want one so bad!!! AWESOME work!

  • NOTHING RUNS LIKE A DEERE

  • good engineering there pretty neat

  • Could you possibly tell me what you had to do? I am thinking of making one of thease.

  • it sure goes slow enough, but it is awesome!!!!

  • What's the name of the song?

  • @fredbear18 I'm pretty sure the song is the theme from 'Top Gun'.

  • sir you are one hell uva fabricater .. we could use more of you in america

  • awsome

  • i want one !!!!!!! let me know when plans are avabel

  • that chipper is pretty neat too!

  • dont want to know how much that cost

  • wow I want one JD should do that for their average lawn tractors I would buy one for sure

  • nice work.. how do you steer it? independent braking on each wheel or clutch system or something?

  • are those skid steer tracks?

  • Well done.

  • Love the repower too! I'd love to look this one over, and you would be totally welcome to post about it at the MTF forum!

  • Great job, Have you shared this on the WFM forum? We would love to see more pics and discuss similar track modifications.

  • What's the top speed on this baby?

  • That's awesome, looks weird without a steering wheel. Did you replace the rear end? You had to to get it to turn?

  • dude you rock that is way too cool you took my favorite toy and made it into what i do for a living i love it!

  • Two thumbs down. I don't get it? They should all be thumbs up! Great job!!!

  • My compliments. Nicely done

  • Hey, nice job with the track conversion, It really is one of the better ones I have seen done. I really like the way you re-worked the fender pan to flow with the tracks. This is one area that always seem to look out of place on a trac job. The hand control choice is great too! Is that off a skid-steer?

  • excuse me kind sir, but how did you do that!! how did you work out the steering?? how did you make one side stop and the other keep going???

  • thats just awsome... i wish i did this to my johndeere

  • very cool wish i could do this to my 212

  • this is great! I'd like to see more of how you did it. how much did you change to get it to steer the way it is now? And how long did it take to do the whole conversion? thanx's and good luck!

  • Nicely done, are you using the existing brakes to do the steering or did you replace the rear end?

  • @mikemainguy Looks all hydraulic to me

    VERY NICE! totaly perfect!

now you need a blade on the front!

  • EXCELLENT! Very professionally done, especially the joystick control!

  • Very nice sir!

  • Love it! Very well done. Looks factory!

  • @Iowaracefan I bet you aren't smart enough to make anything like that. So why criticize someone else that IS smart enough?

    Dumbass...

  • @WKHalford Hello Sir or Madam which ever applies. My comment is not whether I can make it but how JD sucks. Thank you for your thougtful insight. Merry Christmas or whichever God you pray to.

  • @Iowaracefan Dude what a dumb comment!

  • Really nice track work ... Neet job !

Are you the one who made the front chipper ?

Please get in toutch with me about it. Thank's Michel

  • Wow just what I need !!! Are plans available to purchase?

  • man that thing is cooking!

  • man that thing is cooking!

  • Forget the tracks where did you get that chipper mounted on the front? I must have one.

  • can you give a hint as to how the tracks steer. are there 2 independent hydraulic motors? or is the joystick applying a brake to the stock sunstrand hydrostat and differential?

    Thanks

  • Can you share the model info for the front mounted chipper. I need one for my 140.

  • You should sell that to me :)

  • That kid will be one good dozer operator when he gets older

  • Very cool! Now just gotta add a JD 47 front hydroturn dozer blade to your crawler and it will be even more useful. If only guys like us had more time, money, and resources, there would be a lot more cool stuff like this built in the world. I myself am capable of that kind of fabbing, but I never have the time to put my energy towards such fun engineering projects. If you ever want to sell that toy some day, I might be interested as I'm kind of a JD nut myself. Very impressed with your build.

  • You see, this is what Americans were known for- free men create. These days are soon over. I lament this reality.

    I enjoyed the video thanks.

  • @yeshua2come These days will never be over over, As long as there is one American left.

  • @dirtbiker4lfe What will one American do against a world blindly screaming for marxism?

  • @yeshua2come Well, Lets hope we never have to find out. Right.

  • @dirtbiker4lfe Absolutely. I pray regularly that we, America, would come to our senses. I see very little evidence that my prayers are being heard. I hope they will be.

  • Thumbs up!

  • What's the make and model of the tracks?

  • @notxess66

    They are from Rubber Trax,

Inc. in Conners, Georgia. size 230x72x50. The wheels and idlers are from

the Surplus Center catalog. Thank you for your kind comments.

  • @jivey32 conyers, ga ;)

  • @jivey32 how much did you pay for the tracks?

  • @jivey32 Say this is not about the tracks but How do you like your front mount wood chipper? They are extremely rare from what I have heard? I just found an old one that will fit my 110.. I wanted to know your thoughts on it..

  • @zjbeast he made the chipper

  • @jivey32 could you do that with a husqvarna?

  • @jivey32 what transmission did you use?or how did you get it to skid steer like that?

  • This is just the greatest. It looks wonderfully stock. I'd like to know if you have plans to make an instructable out of your process or perhaps sell plans or kits for this. I'm also really appreciating the wood chipper. I was just looking at DRPower last week and thinking that I could do what they've done if I can only get the free time to do it. At any rate, thanks for posting this it's just great to see.

  • that thing is awesome
