Sweetie Pie's Mac and Cheese

My own Mac and Cheese, includes some of the same ingredients. I use evaporated milk, instead of whole, and no sour cream, or sugar. While my own version, consistently gets rave reviews, it's always nice to try a different spin.Today, I added sour cream, can't wait to taste it.

valveeta cheese is imitation.....please it melts thats all that matter i use valveeta in my mac n cheese and it gets it right so last i knew imitation cheese  it dont melt at all and its nasty

I will say this... That mac and cheese was the BEST i have EVER had in my life! No bull shit... I wanted slap my mama, grand mama, aunts, and whoever else. It was the REAL DEAL...Don't sleep on Sweetie Pies.. Everything I had was great and I am not easily convinced when it comes to food.. The smothered pork chop, mac and cheese, candy yams and black eyed peas were amazing.. and here desserts were awesome too! Peach Cobbler and Rum cake to die for! She knows what she is doing

My family was passing through St. Louis over the weekend and we decided to have lunch/dinner here yesterday....WOW. Everything is made with love. I had Salisbury steak, mac'n'cheese, sweet potatoes, mashed taters with brown gravy, AND pear cobbler. Two heart attacks and a bottle of asprin later, I'm still very happy with the whole event. That food is amazing. You'll probably want to do a bunch of cardio before and after, but it's worth it. Don't pass it up if you ever get the chance to eat here

Velveeta isn't technically "cheese" but it does contain oil and milk. It has good flavor and melts good. Besides she does put Chedder, colby and jack in it... and butter and margarine and sour cream and eggs.. and salt.... yummy

I eat at this restaurant on a regular basis. I have never had better fried catfish, and Velveeta or not, that Mac & Cheese is the best that I have ever eaten in my life, or I will *ever* eat in my life. And I forgot to mention....the so-called burnt cheese on the top.....THATS THE BOMB.....but I will agree with you on the Panko bread crumbs...because thats how I do mine.....I miss the crumbs with the cheese then sprinkle it on there and spray with just a lite spray of Pam....talk about GOOD....and by the way...I also have my own restaurant in NJ.....: )
