He bought a pair of loafers. He cut out some of the heel of the shoe. He replaced the cut out with steel. That part of the heel had a cut that looks like this...V. A small bolt pops out from the ground. He slides the bolt into the point. He uses his leg and toe muscles to help him lean. I hope this helps! - Patrick
