Those guitars are awesome! I was lucky enought to try one at a guitar show in NYC back in 2000. It was a left- handed red one. All I could do was a sloppy interpretation of "War Pigs" lol!

As I said below, this guitar was a Custom Shop Signature guitar in 2001 ou 2002 ! But only a few was made !!

The Trade Company here that sells Gibson brought two of these to Brazil and I was lucky enough to buy both of them. So I play with one and keep the other untouched !

You really need to pay a lot to Gibson make one for you.

Actually it was a little Custom Shop production in 2001/2002 or anything like that. The two I got has serials 95 and 98, the only two that Royal brought to Brazil ! Stunning instrument !!

Great job! How do you like the Iommi pickups compared to others? I'm thinking about using them or the Zakk Wylde EMGs in a Jackson RR5.

Thanks ! Actually I like both pickups but I think the Iommi is more natural sounding, more woody, more round and less agressive than the EMGs that have more bite and a little more trebly ! I think the Iommi is the best metal pickup in the passive reign ! The EMG is a more love it or hate it because the extra treble (harshness) sometimes is anoying !

I´m from Brasil ! They (the oficial Gibson trading here) brought 2 Iommi CS e I couldn´t miss that, so I bought the 2. One I tune down half step (this one) and the other a keep it in regular tune. Thanks for watching !

Just a matter of taste. This guitar is based on the 1961 SG, that's the reason for the small pickguard. Besides that, this SG has 24 frets, something quite unusual (I can only think of the SG Supreme with specs like that). Thanks for watching.
