Amy, I totally agree with you that we as an American have a right in the same way as we Deaf have a right as well. We do need to come out and share with others to cherish our cultures in both Deaf and America. Thank you for sharing with us.
This is an excellent vlog. Coming from another culture (Hispanic) I notice that the tendency of American culture is to protect their personal rights and delimiting their personal space. Hispanic is much community oriented, and, for that reason, Deaf here in Argentina can make both cultures (Deaf and Hispanic) work better together. Great vlog about the struggles of dealing with both cultures inside.
Thank you for all of your comments and it is always a struggle to negotiate two different cultures everyday.
