I perfered the gun shots sniping some soldiers instead of the dwarves charging into battle.

It is more realistic that way. Chaos doesn't stop just because Muradin comes out of nowhere and says, "You're not undead." In a very soft voice, compared to the battle cries.

@itsmylife93 However wasting his own soldiers is nothing Arthas could have afforded at the time fighting against mal ganis afterall...he was mad with revange, yes but he wasnt outright stupid. Also it could have been emotion if done right, could have put so you would come to like those mercs before he betrayed them... and no what he meant is that Humans > Trolls.. you have a clearly better view on it than him though.

LOTR is actually one of the best examples of movie adaptation and probably as good as it gets.

@Rulexrox72 Before finding and wielding Frostmourne, Arthas was a paladin, and his weapon was that hammer. There's still a quest in Dragonblight that shows you what happened inside Frostmourne cave.

According to the lure accurate book, Arthas: Rise of the Lich King, the boats were burned by mercenaries from a human colony Arthas hired so they can't leave. Not ogres or abominations, humans.

Would have loved it if you didn't change the fact that the ships are burned by mercenaries (trolls, abominations etc) instead of humans. It does not make ANY sense to me at all that they would slaughter their own in that way while calling them 'beasts'. Plus you say it's not emotional to kill trolls, but the fact that Arthas 'betrays' them in such a way was emotional enough in WC3... otherwise a great movie.

this video si well done, but u made a huge mistake by not being honest with the history, that being: the courier traveling by griffons instead of zepelin, the courier being human instead of blood elf, the GUARDS burning the ships instead of the mercenaries, the dwarves charging arthas army instead of ambushing them like warcraft 3, that is rough man.

@mindingoduparque It's made with purpose. We wanted to present the story as a tragic movie, and killing trolls isn't exactly emotional. We didn't use zeppelin because of the limitations when it was made. We also wanted to present the people as humans instead of High Elfs in order to make the overall story a bit more "realistic" movie-wise. People should try to see the changes from a filmmaker's eye, rather than whining that a 3-month project has different models than the game. Hope this helps :)

My only gripe with it is with not using trolls or ogres in the burning of the ships scene, but I think the way you handeld it was a lot better, espcially with the silent protest of the Captain.
