  • @1337chsacker Explain: hurricane Katrina, Cyclone Yasi, CO2 levels, the long Australian drought, followed by the Queensland floods, the European heatwave earlier this decade, the fact we have left a relatively stable climate that has lasted for 10,000 years and begun a new epoch, the receding ice sheets, the rising levels of Methane and reactive Nitrogen, the acid rain, the rising of Earth's temperature by 2 degrees, the ozone hole, the drop in biodiversity, explain....

  • @1337chsacker Climate change denial makes me harder than proving the Hodge conjecture. The harder you try to reject the obvious, the more impressed I am at your force of will and the more gleefully I anticipate your inevitable capitulation and subsequent rationalization.

You're right about the fed, but I'm gonna guess 'vanderbilt' is on the 'taking' side of that scam. Just invest in commodities and banks, you'll be fine. He's making a fool of you but at least he can't spell. "Vulcanoes?" lol

  • @hymnofashes

You can be anal about my imperfections in the English language from the moment your Dutch equals my English.

  • @vanderbilt887 There is actually a volcanic island in Italy (my ancestral homeland, incidentally) called Vulcano, or you could say you were referring to a person who spews vulgarity into the atmosphere.

  • @1337chsacker

I already have. Do you know what quote-mining is?

Now a few learning moments for you:

    1. Yep, trees absorb CO2. Your argument is? As an aside, do you honestly believe that climate scientists aren´t aware of the fact that trees absorb CO2? Is this some fucking joke?

    2. Your claim about vulcanoes is egregiously false. The U.S. Geological Survey actually does field work and prefers not to pull things out of their ass, hence they come to the conclusion that humans emit more that a

  • hundred times as much CO2 as all of the world´s vulcanoes combined - on a yearly basis that is.

Is this all you have? C´mon, even you can do better than this.

Oh, and I distrust all people on youtube who incessantly keep telling me to ´wake up´. It´s the intellectual equivalent of at least a billion light-years how far away you are from comprehending the irony of that statement.

  • @1337chsacker

Why should I have quoted them? Have I made any specific claim? I can quote you a lot of scientific studies, what is it you would like to know?

Don't even get me started with the bogus "climate-gate" thing. I've been well aware of the hacked emails thing way before it ever hit mainstream news. You think these emails show scientists fiddling data, but then you can't back it up. I double dare you: back it up. You can't.

You're probably *the* most ignorant commenter on a earth science video that I have ever seen. That is *quite* an accomplishment.

  • 800 years ago? 14 times higher than now? You need to move your barbecue grill out of the garage before you light it up.

  • What is next? A demand for funding? For what? For a project that until a few days ago was considered a conspiracy theory of a few "tinfoilhat" types listening to Alex Jones? Wake up people this is real. Does anyone seriously believe we're not doing this already? Remember, under Obama's Dept. of Justice he has sovereign immunity so why not?

  • grimwomyn: could be the video recorder mic is the one w the lousy sound quality, the one on his chest looks recent enough. the video recording may not be the primary purpose of the event but more of an afterthought. Or not.

  • this guy is a Nobel Laureate and the producers were too cheap for a proper mike?

    wow.

  • Interesting discussion on geoengineering but I wonder who makes the decision to release the sulfur... And I wonder about the inintended consequences. So, it looks like there is no quick fix and it comes back to reducing emissions.
