@mordaniela It's more than just the toxins. Vaccines cause autoimmunity by stimulating the Th2 portion of the immune system while damaging the Th1 portion. This is what happens in lupus and many other autoimmune diseases. Detoxing is certainly part of the solution but I've detoxed for years and it's only improved a few things, I'm still autoimmune and have been ever since I got the flu shot.

From what I understand no one in the Gardasil studies got cervical cancer during the study, but no one who hadn't been vaccinated had cervical cancer either. And you'd have to follow the women for the rest of their lives to know if they ended up with it. They don't even know if the women had been exposed to HPV. Oh yeah, it HPV's never been conclusively proven to cause cervical cancer. And guess what else? The vaccine was never tested on girls only older women. Given all that, why take it?

Cervical cancer is rare in women under 25 - in fact it's not a common disease, never has been. Plus, the vaccines have only been *proven* to be effective for 5 years. And if it requires a booster shot, like many other vaccines do, the immunity will have worn off for most girls and they'll be exposed to HPV anyway. Maybe Merck just wanted to rush this one out asap so they can recoup some of the money they lost on Vioxx?
