@ToneWells thanks heaps again for the direction bro... really helped alot aye... and again although your jam right here was frm a year+ ago, still mean.... just one other thing... were your vocals recorded in "song mode/audio" or in "sample mode?"
You mentioned on my comment to "kakaliac's" vid "Wiz Kalifa - I roll up instrumental" that you did that beat a while ago.... can you put it up so I can listen as well as any other of your latest jams?.... fan of ur wrk, keep em coming, Peace Out...
Hey bro, your beats tight.... just wanted abit of info if u don't mind, I don't hav much xperience but luv mak'n beats, just bought a Fantom G8 & am in the process of suss'in it out... been 1month now.... I've been working on a jam & just completed it (instrumental). I nw want to add my vocals onto the track but it'd only let me record the 1st verse before it cuts recording, so the tracks still playing but just can't add more lyrics/singing. I'm using an NT2A microphone if this helps? Cheers...
@Heliza23 thanks man! sounds like you need to upgrade the RAM memory. It's cheap and really makes the Fantom a full studio. Roland says you can only upgrade to 512mb but I installed 1GB with no problem. Talk to Roland about where to buy it and get on the phone with them tell them you want the 1GB instead of the 512... trust me works like a charm!
@ToneWells Oh mean bro, cheers 4 the info, will def luk 2 that. Ur recording sounds MINT & u probs fink I'm crazy but as I'm still new 2 everyfing wandered if u culd help a bro out by way of step by step on hw 2 get my jam 2 sound as gud as urs? eg: the settings I shuld go 2 prior 2 & after the recording of my vocals 2 the track, so it has the mean quality ur jams have, also wat effects u used for ur vocals if any was used??... sorry to sound overly keen but ur music inspire me...
@Heliza23 thanks again bro... yeah I don't mind helping out... feel free to ask.
I made this over a year ago and I'm not sitting in front of my Fantom now so it's hard to give you the settings spec 4 spec but all I really did for the vocals was a little EQ and compression for the live input (rap) and for the hook (singing) I think I added a little chorus and EQ.
As for the instrumental, the MFX and PFX features are really useful for getting a polished sound... Delay, Reverb, EQ etc
C'est chouette cette chason hiphop trés bon, encore félitation et bravo pour le morceau de hiphop de la part de Didier de la belgique en europe,à bientot.
how do you save songs with a vocal or guitar track. i upgraded the dimm memory and have a 4gb flashdrive in the back but when i go to save the sample it says memory full. any advice? thanks

@qkslvr9202 to save a song with audio tracks you must save the samples and the song. to save the samples, hit sample, sample list, and then mark the samples that you are using in your arrangement... then hit save and OK. if at this stage you are seeing the error, sample memory full.. I suggest you start a new project from the menu button. also make sure your 4gb flash card has plenty of room... kinda obvious... but I can't really think of why else it would say memory full... hope this helps man
Very nice. You are really working the Fantom and that was nice groove. I don't know how you can keep up with all those buttons.
What do you think about the vocal quality of recording? Can you add separate compression and have plenty of effect inserts and such? Is there an autotune built in?
@antimarxism Thanks... The vocal quality of recording is great. You can add compression on the input signal, and again afterwards if you want using the MFX or PFX. There is a total of 3 Multi FX and one Pre FX and signal routing is very straight forward. There is no auto-tune effect built in. Pitch shifters yes, but no auto tune. Also yes you can store to external hard drives, flash drives, or computers.
