Cessna 206 Landing

This plane suffered a complete electrical failure during a late evening flight and crashed from clipping its left winglet on a fir tree while on approach to the runway. RIP.

Yeah my uncle and friend did. They couldn't divert because there was smoke filling the cockpit so they had to land with a dark cockpit and no instruments. I have the GPS and it tracked it's final moments. He did a perfect job coming in low and fast without flaps but the banking winglet clipped a tree and fell off (landed in my friends pasture) they then descended about 35 feet and hit two cedar trees.

Sorry to hear that. Bad things happen to good people sometimes. You never know when your time is up. I fly everyday and that is always on my mind when I get home at the end of the day.
