Don't like to steal other people's quotes, but for those who want to know more, some interesting info is in Macangusagain's comments in
Sting & The Chieftans version of it (find it), which isn't necessarily the better version but one I prefer (can't explain).

I agree, actualy what does a catermaran have anything to do with anything celtic or folk? Love the tune but it just lacks the punch cos of no form of animation to do with the subject

Great song it's one of my favourites. this is a very powerful version I do prefer the all Irish version at a session still great though
