If it's about the strongest links they would have added Rinoa instead of Squall (after all Rinoa might BE Ultimecia herself - thats just a common theory though) while Squall just see's her as some random evil witch he has no connections to. they didn't put zack in because they would have to put genesis and angeal in order to connect him to sephiroth. and they didn't put vincent because it would mean needing lucrecia and hojo to connect sephiroth and him.

only cloud and sephiroth had a DIRECT connection with each other.

same with seymour from FFX. they put jecht because him and tidus were direct. seymour was excluded because yuna would have been needed.

By that logic they would have needed to include Aerith and Zack just to match up Cloud and Sephiroth. After all Zack and Sephiroth were friends, while Seph never really knew who Cloud was supposed to be til the incident in Nibelheim. tbh. Zack would have more of a link to Sephiroth than to Genesis whom he hardly knew. They simply took the best known (but not always the last as you can see in FF4) villian of every game without caring about links.

One if there is a hero, they would need to add the villain they have a strong conflict with.

To add Vincent they would have to add Weiss.

To add Zack, they would need to add Genesis.

now it is possible for more character through DLC, but they have no plans to make DLC> But there will probably be a second game due to this one's success. Time and space of the UMD were also factors.

Chaos Vincent is only high hypersonic (mach 10-25). Plus Vincent has nothing that can put Goku down. Goku will blow up the Planet and teleport back home, nuff said.

Their official strengths and speed arent stated but we can determine them by feats. Saiyan Saga Goku traveled a 621,721 mile long Snake Way in 2 days after training with King Kai. That feat means he was traveling atleast 20,833 miles per hour (mach 27). His max power level was only around 25,000 at the time

I have to say, despite the games general corny-ness, I still love it. Sure, the controls were lacking, and the plot left something to be desired, but it gave everyone a chance to play as Vincent, one of the most popular characters from the FFVII series. He was sorely lacking screen time in the original, and it was a very nice change of pace for the main character to not be Cloud or Zack. That, and he is pretty badass. *grins*

This game is mostly a shooter but it has RPG elements in it sorta like Zelda 2 (Links adventrue) or a perfect example is this game is basically the Resident Evil (BioHazzard)4 game of Final Fantasy. I personally loved this game because it covered and filled in a lot of missing information from Vincent in the past.
