  • it's technically not a cover if you wrote the song lol

  • Somebody didn't read the album credits from "Off the Wall"

Stevie Wonder wrote this song MJ sung it on the album.

    Please change the title :)

  • This is the FIRST time I've ever heard Stevie's voice fail him (in the beginning of this song)!! But, that's okay! He's the best!!

  • This song ws written by Stevie and Susan Greene, not Quincy

  • yo STEVIE IS DI BOMB DI MAN HARD

  • mj cover? lolz.

  • God this is awesome seeing its originator sing it. I do miss MJ THOUGH. GOD I MISS HIM XX L.O.V.E.

  • stevie wonder is on his credits to this song...soooo mad respect to the man who had a vision of this song...thnks stevie

  • Stevie wrote it!

  • One of the Sweetest Smoothest Jamz EVER!

  • when did hw do this performance? after his death or before?

  • You have to see this !!!!!!!!!!!!

    type in you tube bellow

MICHAEL JACKSON "i cant help it" (MATT EARLY 2010 REMIX) HD

  • It's nice to finally hear Stevie Wonder sing the song he wrote for michael. and it's a shame that Michael never performed this song live.

  • @EJFSanchez2 I agree. This song should have been released as a single. It gets lots of requests for samples.

  • @EJFSanchez2 I feel you. This should have been released as a single.

  • i know rite. I mean it sounds like a Stevie song. But i like either or michael or stevie.

  • umm, stevie wrote it. lol I believe there were a couple of songs he wrote for MJ. But yeah, this is an early one MJ did. It's not the only song MJ recorded of stevies. and from what I understand only 2 of his songs were released by MJ.

  • Strangely enough, this song would've been great with Stevie.

Hell, as I recall, he wrote it. But still, I like Michael's version better.

  • Yayuh ! love it

  • Omgshh!

Michael Jackson was really influenced cos I can hear resemblance in both their voices

  • Stevie came before MJ. Stevie had more of an influence on MJ. In later years it was more mutual.

  • THAT IS SOOOO TRUE

  • I will write it again for those who don't know...Stevie wrote this song for Michael's Off The Wall album....he wrote it with one of the Supremes.

  • . . . you're are on it . . . Susaye Green was the Supreme who wrote the song with Stevie.

  • Pardon my ignorance, but Susaye Green was in the Supremes?

Dear God, she is a PHENOMENAL singer and if you don't believe it, listen to her version of "Children Of The Ghetto" with Courtney Pine....

Thought she was the vocalist on "It's the falling in love" on the off the wall album but yet again, it's another underrated vocalist - Patti Austin. Mna, Stevie, Michael, the whole era, WELL ahead of its time

  • lovely!! wonderful!! i love that song, i love Michael i can't help it even if i wanted to!! Stevie great too!!

  • i luv this song but its never the same when MJ sings a song its something special that no one can imitate

but stevie killed it MAD talent! i luv stevie : )

  • Well I guess this song is an exception since Stevie wrote it...I love Michael's version but this version is just as good IMO.

  • wow.

  • Beautiful Song ,Grover Washington,Jr. , Joe Pass OK!

  • YES STEVIE WROTE THIS SONG FOR MICHAEL! He even said it during Michael's Memorial!

  • Geez i got dizzy looking at this!!

All that swaying... i felt like i was on rocky boat in a stormy sea!!

As usual, great performance by Stevie!!

  • He killed this performance!

  • It's not really a cover considering he wrote it

  • @schavira I know! When I saw the title I was like "How is this a COVER? He Originally wrote the song!"

  • Didn't SW originally co-write this song ?

  • yes he did! he co wrote it with quincy!

  • not with Quincy sorry he wrote this song with Susaye Greene

  • exactly

  • @dnham No....Stevie wrote the music and lyrics tothis song. Quincy just produced MJ on it.

  • Ya such an awesome song... I'm glad they gave it to michael, cause he killed it.

  • @dnham nope! he co-wrote it with me, Susaye Greene

  • @dnham Stevie had actually co-wrote this song with Susaye Greene a former member of his background group Wonderlove, who was also a member of the Supremes from 1976-1977. Susaye also co-wrote Deneice Williams hit Free

  • @dnham Stevie Wonder co-wrote this song with Susaye Greene one of his former background singers who was a member of The Supremes.

  • Yes, he did !

Tath's why this is the only Jackson song he sang.

  • all you have to do is do a little research even look at stevi at Michaels Wake he says he submitted the song to Quincy Jones, look at the son credits Susaye Green was a singer back then she was in Stevie Wonders group Wonderlove, then was the last Supreme......

  • No.

  • This is such a beautiful song plus a lovely tribute to Micheal Jackson.

Stevie writes the most beautiful songs.

    dave

  • i totally agree
