I just love the sound of your piano. It almost sounds like my 100 year old piano. Unfortunately, it went through a house fire and got damaged by (not fire), but fire hoses. Hasn't worked for a while, but it just has that unforgettable, peaceful, calming sound that yours has.
i noticed an error! 2:39, on the right hand (for the strings) you pressed G then D, which sounds out of tune...try replacing it with D and then the C left of it...
That's not out of tune... G and D are perfect fifths... The only reason it would sound out of tune is if the piano were out of tune, not because of his playing.
what i didn't notice was that not long after he made this video, he made another, where he already knew about the notes being out of tune and he put them right. so basically, i was beaten to it...
on jolly roger bay, if u r out water then the strings isnt in it. when u get in, then the strings play. when u go to the cave for the third star i believe a drum beats starts. on dire dire docks when you drop in the water the strings dont start but when you swim under they start at a certain point. when you get to the room with the submarine a drum beat starts. my best friend TominMB plays the game and listens to the song all the time u can ask him...hed know better.
Dire Dire Docks also has some drums in it doesn't it? I thought on the second round you hear drums, or the sound of hands clapping to a 4/4 sound. I could just be trippin......Good job.

obesecat55, in jolly roger bay, you fall into the water straight away, and the string chord things strt playing, because they are activated by swimming in water, and in deire dire docks, you have a choice to go into the water straight away or not.
sorry...correction: the themes in JR bay and DD docks are actually the same! In both, STRINGS only come into play during CERTAIN different situations. In JR bay, strings come into play when mario is in water, and stops after mario goes completely out of water. In DD docks, the strings come into play as long as mario leaves the "room"(with a whirlpool at the bottom centre) it starts with in the beginning! If mario returns to the "room" the strings are once again, gone!
in addition to JR bay, in the underwater cavern, the strings are still on even though mario's out of the water. However, INSIDE the sunken ship (before the ship floats, before puzzle is solved) the strings go AWAY even though mario's still underwater! In Jolly Roger Bay its just the piano. When you jump into the water the strings come in. If you get out, the strings disappear. If you swim down to the cave, the techno part comes in.
In Dire, Dire Docks it remains as a piano piece until you swim halfway down the tunnel, which is when the strings come in. Once you get out onto land on the other side of the tunnel, then the techno comes in.
Actually, I believe the songs are composed of three different tracks. In Dire Dire Docks, when you start out, you hear only the keyboards. When you jump in the water, the strings come in. And if you go through the underwater cave and reach the dry land inside, the percussion comes in. Jolly Roger bay does something similar iirc. The same thing is done in other levels too, like Hazy Maze.
Your playing is good. I think your piano could use some tuning though. Good job.
