If we look at this characteristically i'd see Lupe as a soldier , Kanye is a rebel (obvious), and Pharell is the kid.

kanye is the soldier and pharrell is the rebel cause if you listen to the paris tokyo remix lupe names everyone in the song and he says the child (himself) and the rebel referring to pharrell cause kanye isnt on that track.
