I know, right? Ranma seems to have been a lot more careful in the anime to keep his little "water-gender" situation quiet. I guess having it stay a secret was something that the anime's writers thought would make things more interesting--and heck, they might be right--but how the truth finally came out in this episode always seemed like a wasted opportunity to me. It could have been a dramatic and/or hilarious "big deal," but here, it's only an aside in the cheerleading plot...
