I have since oiled the two large white cups, and the two caps on the motor (the capped funnels).
To day my wife separated the motor from the deadening board from the motor, pulled it out, and oiled some areas. With the "wheels, separated, it made no sound; with the "wheels" attached, the wife said it made the noise. Not sure if she had an opportunity to oil the "wheels".
Hmmmmmm..... thanks for the tips... I did do the oiling caps, but I did with WD40 as I was told that was ok in those spots. Hammond oil was proving difficult, so I bought some small vials of sewing machine oil, as I was told on the Organ Forum that this was acceptable.
This needs oiling with PROPER Hammond oil only.... Do NOT use anything else!! The generator gets oil to the bearings down cotton threads by capillary action. Using anything but original Hammond oil will ruin it! There are also two oiling caps on the run motor. Oil it and leave 10 days to allow the oil to feed through the threads. If it still squeals, oil it again and leave another 10 days.

You can order Hammond oil from Goff Professional or Tonewheel General.
